Rudy doesn't really like talking about it; cuz that's all anybody ever asks him "So what was RR like?" "What was it like playing with RR?" That's the main reason he wrote OFF THE RAILS was to answer those questions once and for all. THAT being said, check THIS out... That cokehead pilot was trying to crash the plane directly into the bus just as a Fuck You to his ex wife who was there for some reason. Randy figured out what he was trying and managed to pull the stick over enough to just barely clip the bus before slamming into the mansion. He is s fucking hero. Aycock would have killed everybody on the bus; Oz, Sharon, Don, Tommy, Rudy and i think Pete was on the bus too (RRs guitar tech) all would have died. I'll never get why Randy got in that plane that night, but he saved many lives in losing his own far too soon.

Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake on bass & drums respectively.

Sarzo is good people. He was/is Randy's best friend for a reason. He went above & beyond for me & I'll always be in his debt for doing so. He doesn't know me but he still did a whole lot for me.

Rudy has been a great guest over the years. He is a great listener. In these fucked up times sometimes people just want someone to listen to them. If the duration of these lockdowns for COVID end up being a great amount longer I could see some badass regional music making a comeback similar to how all those great Seattle bands formed. All these musicians isolated in home regions putting in a lot of work I bet.
