      2607H would work good with the 1745D Balers. Plenty of PTO HP.

    Does the belt squeal because of slipping on the rollers? Causing premature belt wear?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 года назад

      Belt Tension is Released with the New Drop-N-Go. Which is why you hear the squeek. But some of that is because of no loader on the baler without any bale and it's brand new too. We've sold several and some to past 1745 (Non-Drop-N-Go) Owners and they love the new feature. Not seeing Premature Belt issues with the ones we sold.

    we have to replace a belt but not sure how to release the tension to attach the new belt. need help please

      There is a bolt in the left side twine box that you use in the belt slacker hole on left side. Open tailgate insert the bolt in the hole then close tailgate and it will loosen belts.

    Any idea why they got rid of the spring tensioner on the left side? Was it just not needed?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 года назад +1

      Because now they have Hydraulic Density Control for the Bale with the 1745D. The Hydraulic Control Know inside the front shield by the angle gearbox we showed in the video. The Spring was only to control the bale starting density before the cylinders took over and now they control everything hydraulically.

      @@VahrenbergImplement Thanks. The reason I asked was that in the Massey corporate videos for 1745D it showed a spring, but I guess that was last years model 😄

      Wondered why they didn't discuss Drop-N-Go and the Adjustable Bale Density Control on that video. It didn't have it. Bet they updated decal and discussed the features before the production balers hit dealers. Here is another dealer that shows the same as we have on the 1745D: ruclips.net/video/1FrpAmp-8Pc/видео.html

    Sir, whats the difference between an older 2745 baler

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 года назад +1

      2745 was the Full Featured Baler was updated by the 2800 series and now current series is the 2900 Series. Instead of making a 4' x 5' Version they only offer the 4' x 6' Versions that is variable chamber and can make bale diameter from 30" to 6'. 1700 Series Round Balers are Basic, Economical Series with less bells & whistles as the Full Featured Models.

    can i use it to do silage or semi-dry bales with it?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Год назад

      1745D is Dry Hay Only Baler. If you need High Moisture Baler the RB4160V or RB4180V are true Silage Balers. The 2900 Series offers Silage Kits to Bale Dry or Wet Hay Bales.

    Silly question. I’m trying to figure out how to do my twine feed on this baler when it’s time to wrap it. I have an older manual toggle switch monitor box. I start the wrap in the home position and as the arm swings from the left to the right the bale eventually pics up the strings and it starts wrapping. I take it all the way “out” until it stops. Then do I stop at every line and if so how long do I keep it on that line before going g to the next mark? I’m ending up with the left side of the bale (home side) with way more string than the right side (out side).

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 года назад

      Yes the twine will not feed till it gets picked up in the center of the bale. Depending on how much twine you want on the bale you continue to move the to left side of the bale and apply as many end wraps as you like then you joggle (turn on/off) switch to move the actuator until you apply the amount of twine you want and the distance apart. Once it reaches near the right end you apply ends wraps that run to home to cut the twine. It's more time of how long you keep in the off position to increase amount of twine applied.
