Good job Sir!! Yes, Flags on the front of truck and two on the rear widest part of the load and a sign on the front and one on the rear!! Invest in a commercial strobe!!! Youll be getting more oversize loads in the future. The next one will probably be running at night! Youll be prepared!! Great securement!! Ill see you on the other side!!! Be Safe Sir!! Ken!!Oh!! 👍🏾✌🏿
I also brought a cargo from Oklahoma here (These pipes) Virginia Beach then went swimming. Health and good luck to you, brother. I hope to see you at the truck stop someday
I move those steel trench boxes all the time. You did great job strapping. I always throw chains from one side to the other and tie down chain from the very top of the box. But to each his own. God bless
Watching almost every single of your videos, thanks for the detailed explanation about strapping 💪🏻👍🏻 (I'm planning to switch from car hauling to flatbed🙄)

@@alfonsogonzalez6412 Hey Alfonso! I agree with the cold but it hasn’t been too bad. I don’t know if the type of gloves you are referring to but know that worm gloves make it difficult to work 😁
@@АхметовТигрлан PJ is good. I like it. Big Tex is a step down from PJ. Don’t think Big Tex offers electric over hydraulic disc brakes, and air ride. Those two things are important to me and I definitely recommended it. Look at a PJ versus big Tex.
I run 15w40 Rotella Conventional oil in my 7.3 Power Stroke. I was trying to see what weight and style of oil you use. I tried the 5w40 synthetic years ago and my engine didn't like it and ran weird here in the Florida heat.
@@jamesnelson5700 the load stuck out half a foot on each side. The flags waive far enough past the load to be considered at the widest point. No need to complicate things. DOT didn’t have an issue with my flags or signs and yes I did go through a weigh station

The weather looks the same as here and that’s a great job you did strapping down that wide load

Alex what did you do with the used oil? Have a Happy and safe New Year!!!!!
@@brianfarmer872 you can dispose of it at Walmart or sometimes some truck stops will take it.
I see a lot of guys secure their dunnage at the front of the trailer stacked up and strapped. Seema to work and not take too much deck space.

These engines are wayyy different than a 7.3 lol they don’t like 15w40

Thats a great question. Alex, How many miles will you run your truck before trading/selling it?
Man that oversize load is legit money wise. Do you get many loads to Knoxville or pass through mostly?

Lot of wasted movement. Throw all the straps, then edge protector, and then tighten straps.
It's because he's trying to get his gym workout in without going to the gym.All that extra movement. 😅😅
