*As an old adversary jeopardizes all that Mark treasures, he must discover an escape route.
Synopsis:
At seventeen, Mark Grayson is your typical teenager, except for one crucial detail: his father is Omni-Man, the mightiest superhero on Earth. As Mark begins to manifest his own superhuman abilities, he unravels a disquieting truth about his father's legacy, which may not be as heroic as it appears.

There's a fan theory that because the main universe's Mark got his powers so late compared to other Viltrumites & his other versions, he hadn't spend years being trained by Omni-Man to follow Viltrumite customs & support the plan of their Empire taking over the Earth compared to all of the other Marks from other universes, hence why they lacked the empathy for humanity our Mark has.

He’s a freshman in college that just killed his first human and prior to a year ago didn’t have any powers. I think it’s perfectly reasonable how he reacted
And he's only been back from Thraxa for like 1 week. Earths MVP is going thru the most right now , I just love how believable and relatable it all is and how everything makes sense

It's crazy cause we didn't know it at the time, but Nolan has been conflicted since the very 1st episode when he said "Mark got his powers so late, that I wasn't prepared for this. It changes things. I can't help but think maybe our lives would be better if he hadn't gotten them at all."
Agent spider is a stand in for actual Spider-Man. In the comics that was actual Peter Parker
Man if yall knew what was coming from the comics. The great thing about Invincible is that everything comes back/has a story. All that stuff we saw in the final battle is just a sneak peak of what's to come. Things seem like flashes or rug pulls but they all get fleshed out later. It's so many characters still to come and so many stories of current characters we are just about to learn.

Not every single other Mark in the multiverse was "bad". This is discussed in the comics. Many Marks who went "bad" had circumstances that led them that way. Some were from bizzaro (inverted) dimensions where good was bad, others were from dimensions where Nolan raised him alone & taught him Viltrumite ethics, others were from dimensions where Debbie died younger. I can't tell you where in the comics this happened without spoiling huge plot-points. But this Mark is definitely not the only "good" Mark
Angstroms line to the Mauler Twins in the S2 premiere, "In MOST other dimensions they team up and take over the planet..." would definitely suggest this. You might've said too much tho - Debbie's lines in this episode seem to be an intentional redirect so if/when we see another good Mark it's way more exciting and unexpected
This season was epic, the cool references of prof Oct and web slinger. Y’all were right about Duplicate so awesome. Robert Kirkland thank you for giving us what we need in comic books and animation 🔥🔥🔥
In the comics it actually was Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus, but their own version was still neat. They even got the VA from the Amazing Spider-Man cartoon.
I think one of the best descriptions I've seen for Nolan is
He's basically comic book Vegeta. An alien warrior with too much pride and ego for his people, that eventually gets wrapped up into the very place he sought to conquer.
If y’all forgot, Omni man was struggling within himself, even in the old days when Mark was a child if you remember at the end of the atom eve special when he was about to kill Debbie, and then he changed his mind because he felt conflicted. What put on him over the edge to change his way of thinking was when he fought Mark at the end of season one.
It's insane to think how much stronger Mark has become since the first season, the most significant damage from hours of fights (for Mark) was a nosebleed, all with him holding back, since the black eye he got in the fight against Anissa

Nolan's violence on earth, as awful as is was, was his way of trying to lie himself and prove that he wasn't sucked into earth culture.
Viltrumites are an incredibly lonely race, they just breed and move on. It was only a matter of time till one of them wanted more.

I know you fellas knew there is no 9th episode. Your said at the end, they setting up for season 3. It's clear he misses Debbie. He only knew Andressa for a few months. This is one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I have been here a minute. The writing, voice acting,world building,and animation is superb. You brothers have good insight and critical thinking.PS Love is always and forever will be a strength
Him accident killing Armstrong is a strong hit consider in the comics when he enter marvel universe. Spider-man taunt him to control his strength and anger. Which he ends up failing in the end.
OLIVER KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON
A Rexplode or Robot origin episode would be dope.
The crossovers were crazy. DC, Marvel , mad max. But imagine a scene where he went to a dimension and saw The Boys. In animated form Ofc.
Mark knows a wars on the horizon that he'll be in the middle of. He'll have to give up having a normal life and being a superhero part time. Eve lovng Mark intuitivly knew that was the life Mark had wanted and it probably wouldn't happen for him now. "He didn't deserve this". /having his dreams taken and his lighter soul being turned darker and harder.

Oliver reminds me so much of my 16 month old son, this was a hard watch for me.
Seeing him go The Boys style Invincible makes me excited to finally see him go all out.. hopefully in S3🤞🏾
"They usually go threw the walls" lol that ship, and cell, is viltrimite proof. Designed to contain someone as strong as Nolan. The only one that can literally walk through the walls is Allen. He's far above Nolan at this point

Amber is not a good person, she's only become interested in Mark because she thought eve liked mark, then she see the danger of what marks life is first hand when the cyborg attacked the college, but does a 360 and call mark a coward for "leaving her behind" when she know for weeks he was invincible and he just saved their lives then she insults him more when he reveals his identity and dumps him. Then the same day see she and everyone sees mark get beaten by his dad while thousands die from the damage it cause. Now after seeing that a smart person would come to the conclusion that this life is not for me it's to dangerous and at least apologize to mark, but not amber instead she try to be quirky and brags that she's a detective and wants to be be with him again? Why you didn't what to be with him when he was saving lives, but you run back to him after thousands after dead, but it's only when annisa threatened to kill her that's when her two brain cells decide to start working realizing how dangerous marks life is, but at the end of the day she only cares about her life not Mark's. And here's something people never bring up, so the whole time Mark's firend have been gaslighting him that he's a bad boyfriend to amber even tho all her even think about is her and hates when he gets called to be a superhero, amber is the shitty girlfriend she knew for weeks mark was a superhero but she still gets mad at him and threatened to break up, knowing damn well he's out there saving lives. Amber is a narcissist

Why does every reaction video assume Oliver is going to get his powers? Lol Nolan was clear in season one that mark would get his at about 18. He was expecting it. Oliver may age faster, but even with that he's no where near 18 in his life cycle. No super baby
na nolan said "even the latest bloomers on viltrum get their powers before what would be their 18th birthday"
which means mark got his late
also yes, people expecting oliver to get powers is very stupid and if he did get them at that point, i'd call it convenient writing 😂
idk if u've read the comics or not but in the final or second last episode of the series (2040 probably) you'll see a kid develop his powers at like 6-7
