This is only the first chapter and we don’t know much yet but I’ll share my thoughts and theories based and what others have gathered. During the opening scene, our character is trying to look into why the park was suddenly closed as it was all a cover up by the authorities. They used to go there with there family so they could be connected to why the park was closed and what happened to everyone within. There’s something the authorities don’t want the public to know about. Meeting the mascots we’ve met Mollie, Finley and Lloyd so far. When the train breaks down and you try to fix it, you can actually find another character in a collapsed part of the ride and you see a cut out of the character Salem the Skunk; who you can actually meet in the arcade mini game. Salem seems to be a villainous type of character and very little is known about her so far. In the mini game, Salem turning Mollie evil could be a hint as to what made the mascots evil. Experimentations caused by the employees perhaps. While you’re fixing the train, we see a Mollie robot out of commission. The audio is scrambled but here’s what could be heard. “Not Rambley. He hurts Lloyd. He hurts Lloyd” this could mean there’s something deeper to Rambley and Lloyd’s feud, but also; could there be a more aggressive mascot of Rambley roaming around the park? During our encounter with Lloyd, the frequency on our wrist band seems to mess with them. Could this be how the staff was controlling the mascots and keeping them at bay? During our chase scene with Mollie, you can hear her speak words that she has heard before. She is a parrot like bird, meaning she mimics what she hears. It’s hard to make out but here are a few lines that could be heard. “You’ve known me for 100 years. Get back in your cage, bird. Get up you stupid freak” hearing these phrases could mean the possibility that the mascots were mistreated during experimentation and keeping them in control. After Mollie’s death, we see that it’s no ordinary robot as blood sprays from the wound, meaning the mascots are created from something more organic and lifelike.
