we can also use the command "disabled-connected-check" instead of ebgp mulithop command.

Great explained.
ebgp is not coming up between ebgp neighbors
1. check state of the peer in output of "show ip bgp"
2. check configuration on both routers "show run | sec bgp"
3. check reachability/ ping peer IP
4. if loopback IP is configured, check if update-source loopback command is configured
5. by default, eBGP should be directly connected i.e in same subnet.
if its not, ebgp multihop should be configured "neihbor x.x.x.x ebgp-multihop 255"

Great video. Thanks Amar. One question, if the source IP and eBGP multi hop is the issue, then how did it work for eBGP with R3 and R4 routers. eBGP was up between R1 R3 and R2 R4 but it did not have these configurations, correct? Please let me know if I am missing anything. Thanks.

that was done on purpose to let us explain that what could be the possible reasons of ebgp neiborship not coming up
He used interface network address instead of Loopback for R3 and R4
Exactly loopback used only in R1 and R2 so multihop is required. @@ShivamSaxena989
