Great tut as usual Sandy.. I’m gonna order some wire. And thanks for giving approximate thickness of the clay for those of us without a decent pasta machine..
That's a great question, Myszka! To bake anything round, like beads and tubes, accordion fold a piece of cardstock and place your pieces in the folds. This will not only keep things from rolling about, it will preserve their shape. You can also bake on a bit of fiberfill batting.
Thanks for sharing this great idea, BUT, you never gave the oven temperature or how long should these bails be baked & can i put in quite a few at one time with the same baking results?
The temperature depends on the brand of clay. Check the directions on your clay package. You can bake as many pieces as you can fit in your oven at a time. 😀 "Baking," although a commonly used term with polymer clay, is kind of a misnomer. It's not like baking a pan of brownies. Instead it's a curing process. Great tutorial, Thank you! One question - how to bake it so it stays rounded?

Beautiful! How do you attach your bails to your pieces?
Thank you, glad you like them! Usually I just use jump rings to attach pendants to bails.

You are welcome, hope you found it helpful.
What kind of paper and stick u use that polymer clay bail could be place on to go into the oven
Any paper can go into a 275 F. degree oven. A wooden or metal dowel will be fine, just not plastic.
Thank u for answering so quickly

Did you bake the first layer before the 2nd one?
Yes, first bake the core, then it will hold its shape while you add and decorate the outer layer.
@@SandyHuntress Thanx a million 🧿
Cute! xx
