Martina here, aka King Kogi 👑🐷 I hope you've been enjoying these videos. I do love creating them, but I also love chatting with the community afterwards. I hope to see you over on King Kogi, my personal RUclips channel, where I engage much more with the community as it has a much more positive vibe. ✨🚀

Hey Martina!! Thanks for posting this comment and video to EYK - it made me re-visit your personal channel. When everything went down I did look at your channel, but that was in the early days with only maybe 3 music videos. It was cool but not for me - but your channel is so robust now. I really should have hung on a bit longer! Anyways, your personality was always why I subscribed back in the day, and im really happy to see more of it. Hope youre doing well and all the best!

agree, i am still masking up most of the time too, also in canada (i finally got covid in may this year, so now that ive been sick i feel a little more relaxed to go maskless for quick errands and such). its so rare to see one now that i feel silly wearing one too, like, did i imagine this whole covid thing? so bizarre, i wish that we in the west would be more open to wearing masks in relevant situations (allergy season, when we are feeling unwell, etc), but it seems that the covid response and mandates have likely soured most people’s opinion of masks

    • @nolaray1062

I still wear a mask every time I am in public. I have an autoimmune disease that really wrecks my respiratory system. I’m in the southern part of the US, so unfortunately it usually means I’m the only one (or one of very few), so a lot of looks and comments I get from strangers are so unnecessary. It makes me feel like an idiot, but I would really like to avoid something that could kill me. Especially with cases being on the rise. I don’t have any plan of losing the mask for a while, especially since we always have waves coming and going.

Hi Martina! I really like this kind of video to be honest. I did plan to go to Japan before the pandemic, haven't plan again since I'm not sure when I can go, or whether Japan has opened its borders or not. But anyway, I really appreciate content like this, with chain or easy to find restaurants. I mean using Tableu or going to mom pop shop is great and all, but as a tourist I won't actually have time to find and search those mom pop shop, and maybe they're not that great, or they are great but not to my taste. So this one in dept store, or the previous video about Royal Host is great. I especially appreciate it since the places are easy to find, and they have lots of food options, and picture or food display, which makes it easier to choose. I hope you do something similar in the future. Thank you!
Also, just another idea, I know usually you focus a lot of places (food or travel) that is not as crowded, or not well known, but would it be possible for you to review touristy places and give your take on it? like whether the touristy spots are actually worth it, or just overpriced, or whether there are other alternatives that are not known by many?

The lunch looks so good!! As for the fish bones I think I just learned to spit it out or accidentally swallow it. 😅

Great video! Looking for this video, becoming homesick. I miss Teisyoku and Sashimiso so bad. About fish, what I buy and eat is only haddock and salmon. I miss every type of fish meal like 焼き魚(Yakizakana)煮魚( Nizakana) 生魚(Namazakana). I would do おかわり(Okawari) definitely, too. おかわり、さいこう!!(Okawari, awesome!!)
Thank you for this video, have a good one, Martina.

Don't mind me asking these questions.
      1) Do you consider Japan as a highly developed and advanced country ?
      2) How would you personally rate Japan (from culture to technology, architecture, food, local products, scenery/landscape, standard of living/quality of life, etc.) on a scale level of 1 to 10 ?
      3) How would you overall describe the characteristics of Japanese people ?
      4) If you have 3 words or more to describe Japan, what would it be ?

Same! I have an autoimmune disease and I’m not taking any chances just because some ppl demonize science in the west. Always makes me happy to see ppl who will take precautions. Ppl born with less than great immune systems appreciate it.
