    L-carnitine supplementation can decrease diastolic blood pressure without affecting systolic blood pressure, improve liver function in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, potentially treat depression, protect the developing brain, enhance exercise performance and recovery, and aid in weight loss.
    Carnitine supplementation shows promise in improving various aspects of health and may be worth considering for individuals with specific health concerns.

    If you take L-Carnitine when you do intensive labor, like yard work, your muscles won't be as sore the next day! It works!

    there is also a relationship between carnitine and niacin, i.e. the 'carnitine shuttle'. I read that this 'mechanism' so to speak was helpful for those with sjogrens syndrome.

    My husband and I have been taking ALCAR for about a year. We take it because it helps with memory/word-recall issues, and we've definitely seen that benefit, but it's nice to know all the other benefits!

    Dear Dr. Osborne. I WATCH ALL YOUR VIDEOS AND I NEVER SEE ANYONE QUALIFIED TO TALK about Medullary thyroid cancer and cause affect. I got diagnosed 14 years ago. Developed type 1 diabetes 5 years ago. And suffer from many Vit Def issues and have to take antioxidants n Amino Acids. Why do they only talk about thyroid non cancer subjects

    Dear Osborne
    What do you recommend for high BP level
    L Carnitine or L Arginine

    • @Keithzzzzt
      @Keithzzzzt 5 месяцев назад +4

      The arginine pathway degrades in aging but there is another pathway that relies on dietary nitrates. Greens. You need proper oral bacteria to process the nitrates into nitric oxide. No flouride toothpaste or mouthwash. A ketogenic , meat based diet will also lower insulin and this normalization of insulin will result in a proper renin aldosterone ratio, which stops the kidneys from hoarding sodium and lowers blood pressure very quickly. I dropped my blood pressure from 150/100 to 120/80 just by eating a very low carb diet. I also took magnesium, potasium, sea salt, l carnitine , leucine , glycine and taurine. Meat haa all of these in abundance but sometimes an extra boost can have dramatic results. I would say the key factor was low carbs though. It works like magic to lower insulin and blood pressure.
