    We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun twice within the last 12 months and absolutely LOVED everyone and everything about it. We did Ocean Front Jr(I believe) suites both times (5th floor) and can't wait for 3rd trip. I would Love to splurge for the Presidential Suite, but as little time as we spent in the room, we wouldn't get the value IMO. Great Review!!!!!!

      Nice! If we were to go back I think we would try the swim up suites (but on the quiet side). We were told that was the other most popular room category. And you're 100% right on not spending time in the room! That might be the good compromise for the swim up room because it is right there and has great ease of access. Otherwise the only real benefit of the Presidential for us was the extras that came with it. Have fun on your 3rd trip!!!!

    Just curious if you had access to the Hyatt Ziva as well. Also, i have been trying to find menus for the restraunts. Do you know how to find these?

      We did not have access to Hyatt Ziva. We asked about it and they said no. As for the menus they have a Hyatt Inclusive app and we would normally look there but I just looked and for whatever reason Zilara Cancun is not in the app. Zilara Riviera Maya shows up and has access to menus but not Zilara in the Hotel Zone, sorry.

    That’s room 805 right? We were told that was only new one. We had them move us the next day and told us it the only room that WASNT new. So we’ll see the new one looks like. But great place.

      Yes room 805. We were told that's the only renovated Presidential Suite and saw some pics of the other presidential suites with old furniture. Let me know what you find out - if they have others that are renovated!

    Are some of the pool cabanas first come first serve/free or do you have to pay extra for them?

      They have free ones that are first come first serve. We had friends with us and one of the afternoons they found a really good free cabana by the pool. There are signs on them that tell you if they are free: "Cabanas de Cortesia" !!!

    Which resort did you like the best between Secrets the Vine and Hyatt Zilara Cancun?

    • @kyle-ok
      @kyle-ok  Год назад +1

      Secrets the Vine! I thought room at Secrets the Vine was better with the big high floor view, better food, better drinks, better pool service, just had a better feeling of luxury. Only big win for Zilara was the comfy bali beds on the beach and the shallow water to walk into.

    That’s not a presidential suite… Wow!

    • @kyle-ok
      @kyle-ok  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah it wasn't quite as impressive as we had hoped. For this resort if I was to do it again I would go with a swim up suite instead for sure, but would request it to be on south end away from the activities pool for just a little more privacy and quiet.

    Lots of people complaining about having to pay for pool chairs and beach chairs. Did you have issues finding chairs or is this criticism overrated?

    • @kyle-ok
      @kyle-ok  10 месяцев назад

      Right by the main pool you do have to reserve and pay for most them I think. We had a reserved bali bed at the beach that came with our room and they let us move it to the pool if we wanted, which we did the last day. Might not have been too busy when we were there because it didn't seem to be an issue. But it could be a problem for sure.
