I've been waiting for this! Impressions of the R1300GS adventure ride! I see, I see. It's a great ride. I'm finally able to get my hands on one tomorrow (12/14), so I'm looking forward to it.
Nice video! How did you manage that trip2 resets itself? Mine doesn't, although I've set the tickmark to automatically reset this value...... I saw also something that it has to do with the software version of the TFT. Mine has 125.xxxxxx ; seems that version 126.xxxxx fixes this problem. Anyway, first 1000km almost there on my GSA, so will also let the dealer have a look....
You are correct I had a software upfdate already happen so I can't reflect back to the previous version, my dealer is very proactive with the upgrades etc, for example last week I stopped there for a coffee they (my dealer Haneda) immiedately took adv. of this to refit my motorbike with the right side handle bar controller of which BMW global has issued a recall, so I recieved the letter from Japan yesterday however my dealer Haneda has already finished the replacement.
Do you find as well that people tend to cut corners in Japan a lot when the road gets narrower despite the fact they can not see if someone is coming from the opposite direction? I find it extremely annoying and dangerous.
You can see on two ocasions I had to swerve way out to ensure I was ok and not put myself in a diffcult siutation, I tend to only find this in rural areas in Jaoan. I feel within larger cities in Japan are the drivers excellent and very observant.
Great video Arch! Thanks!

Well you don't need the rear break anyhow unless you ride off-road.
Yeah and this machine is absolutely amazing. !
What's the city speed limit over there?
hey there, 30 and 50 depends on where you are.

@@archjapanmotovlogs Yes I have noticed! I agree, but I still prefer rural areas to city roads as the congestion can be really hard to handle.
