Im surprised you didnt mention that scenes from the tv show the Tudors were also shot in dublin castle. Also side note, Dublin "city hall" is also known as the GPO or general post office, and the bullet holes are still there from the 1916 easter rebellion. My great great (there may be one more great idk) uncle fought in that fight, and also lived to fight in the civil war that followed. He was assassinated in Cork. You might know of him 😊 finding out my ancestory pushed me to become an irish historian. Great video!
Quick fact 25 years before Bram Stoker's Dracula a famous Dublin man wrote a vampire book his name was Thomas Sheridan le fanu even though stroker made Dracula famous it was his friend le fanu who originally gave him the inspiration and le fanu also inspired many more vampire stories and movies
The word 'Castle' is ever so slightly deceiving as the bulk of the medieval castle burned down in 1684, only to be rebuilt in the Georgian style of architecture 50 years later.
Another awesome video.
Thanks for you support! Trying to be as cool as you.

I'm a Dubliner. City Hall is not or never was the GPO in reality, it's a totally different part of the city..

Where is the castle! You have wasted my time!
That is the castle. I guess Dublin Castle wasted your time, not us.
