Why do I know it?, because I worked for at least 10 amazon sellers before and that's what we do. However, they cant pay 200 people to leave them good review. They will just not do that specially if they have expensive items. Let say for example an amazon seller is selling a $200 item, are they willing to give 100-200 the item for free and pay extra more for leaving them a good feedback? I dont think so... Maybe they can give out 20-50 items for free and pay for feedback. But 200-1000 paid reviews, that's not happening. That's why our lists are composed of items with high ratings, a lot of user reviews, high monthly sales and we also read the reviews to make sure they are fake.
@@TopBestCheap I, actually have the first bike on this list and put over 2k miles on it now. It's definitely a good bike for the price range, for sure. And the higher ratings are usually the better quality items. So, I do agree with your choices The ratings wouldn't be as high, however if they weren't being manipulated to seem higher than they are. Still, the higher ratings do typically mean higher quality because this is happening with everything that's sold by larger private companies. So, all the items have higher ratings than they normally would
When people start selling them for close to the price I can build them for then maybe people would buy them, but when I can build a 1000w Hardtail with hydraulic disk brakes and a 120mm travel fork with a 13-15ah battery for under £600, and the best price I can find one online with similar specs is around £1000 then there is little point buying one at the stupid prices people are asking. p.s maybe try using options that can actually be delivered to places other than the US.
I'm new to this stuff, so what do you look for when you wanna build an ebike? Cuz that sounds fun and I'd rather do it myself just like I built my gaming PC, do these parts have popular brands like PC's do so I can know what to look for?
@@Chicxulubs the conversion kits are easy enough to understand and are quite versatile as to what frame they can fit, other than that it's just style of bike and battery that matches the voltage of the conversion kit. Not many name brands yet really it's mainly just more cost more speed/durability.

Still you were right about them being cheaper, I probably would've spent more than necessary on some crap ebike. Some cheap DIY ebikes being able to compete with others that can go into the thousands is stupid
