I genuinely enjoy you working with your good friends: Dave & Quentin -- It reminds me of all the times I worked with my own grandpa on various projects. He didn't do fish tanks, but we did everything from water heaters, hvac, electrical, sprinkler systems, and yard maintenance together. Even the way tools go missing all the time is funny, I hope they bring back your hanmer XD Honestly he was the closest thing I had to a father figure. I am very happy seeing some of your business decisions take shape and the way you definitely implemented your business plan appropriately and modified your store accordingly. Perhaps one day you can implement your automatic water change system, but the manual changes are somewhat nice, especially if you dump the fish water on the plants outdoors as it has natural fertilizers to keep the flowers, shrubs, and trees looking rather healthy and growing heartily ;) It has been very nice seeing your passion transform into a viable business, I wish you much success in your endeavors and I appreciate the content that has helped hobbyist the world over
If you ever run strip light again it's best to use some aluminium strip to attach first then stick the led strip to that. The surface of the aluminium is the ideal texture for the double sides tape. 👍
Awesome video nick! It was great to see the masters of building come back to help build a beautiful racking system for your shop. Everything looks great mate 😊
That looks so nice Nick! I sure wish that I could visit your shop. My consolation is that I live within an hour's drive from Aquarium Co-op, so I can't complain too much!
those two are trouble hahah trust them to have the oldest heaviest relic powertools i love your store, its super inspiring for a home setup. ill definitely visit when im in the area one day
Hi. It 's good when there are such assistants . Let me give you some advice . When the spotlight burns out . Try the GX 53 lamps . They are cheaper and durable .
I love it! The attitude of the tradesmen was absolutely perfect! What a cool upgrade to your shop! It looks amazing and made the space way more profitable.❤️🇺🇸
Here's a tip for your next project: when spraypainting glass give the glass sides you are going to paint a light sand paper with low grit. It helps the paint adhere better to the glass and wont peel off. Also enamel would seem to work best long term. Thanks for the video :)
I liked the old set up. Dont get it twisted though this new one is totally choice. There is something wholesome about good old fashioned ingenuity. It was a real joy watching you build all of your set ups and taught me about efficient breeding/filtration systems. 😊
I get your point on wanting to minimize your betta display tanks. I think you should only have as many as the amount of different patterns you think people would want. I've seen some have a ton of displays but have the same pattern betta on 5 of them.
When you open a can of varnish, go around the lid a bit at a time so you don't end up bending the lid in case you don't use up the can and need to cover it again.
I’m not speaking on behalf of Nick but unlikely.. Due to state restrictions for imports into WA (and TAS). Plus it’s a fair trip which may result in more fish being DOA and therefore cost prohibitive.
i hate it when the non-fish people ask when dinner is 😭 would u go to the god damn dog shelter and ask em when theyre firing up the grill?? unhinged humans
Ogs will remember when he used to breed the fish in a garage.... happy to see you been upgrading hope to see more of this in the future
We need a Dave and Quentin DIY build series 😂

You give Dave and Quentin T-shirts, they take your hammer. Seems a fair trade 🤣. ✌️

Awesome....😁
Who makes the commercial betta condo system?
Nick, you will have to modify/expand the shop/breeding room on a regular basis so we can get our fill of the Dave and Quentin Comedy Show!
❤❤
Hey just wondering where you bought the new Betta System from? looks really nice.
"You can see, Dave & Quentin took my hammer." 💀
Them 2 need to have their own little podcast on this channel..... it would be hilarious

This is great! Do you have any plans to ship animals to Wa?
I’m not speaking on behalf of Nick but unlikely.. Due to state restrictions for imports into WA (and TAS). Plus it’s a fair trip which may result in more fish being DOA and therefore cost prohibitive.
What are the aquarium dimensions?
What was total cost for the build?
