White Out and Free Refills in Tahoe

What an awesome day. Mount Rose didn’t get nearly as much snow as I was hoping for and what the original forecast was showing with like the 8 to 10 inches but we did get 4 to 6. It was pretty apparent how shallow the powder was right away went to go, make my first turn on the groomer and set my tail sink into the hard pack. Took it pretty easy knowing that the coverage was pretty light and that the snow was gonna continue all day. I ended up running into some buddies from the mountain and ended up, riding the rest of the day with them finding what pockets had filled in with the half inch to 1 inch an hour that we were getting. It wasn’t quite refills considering that we didn’t start the day to begin with, but the snow got better as the day progressed.
