    I've enjoyed this review Bob and Jenny,thank you.Just a note on the front blind (although they may have changed them now)It looks like you could move the sun visors down to block the light from the top gap at a push (from what I could make out but it's not ideal).Looking forward to your next adventure.

    Another excellent video. One oof the most genuine and detailed motorhome reviews I have seen on RUclips.
    In regard to your comments about whether to keep your C1 licence I would suggest considering how much payload you need before making any decisions. On our way back from our 19 day trip to Scotland I put our Malibu Campervan over the weigh bridge in Leyland and just manage to scrape in under the 3.5 tonne weight limit with 40kg to spare. We had a full tank of fuel and the water tank was approximately half full but we had very little food on board. Bearing in mind that we have approximately 100kg more payload than with the Adamo and judging by your video we carry quite a bit less than you it may be something you would want to consider.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Год назад

      Yes, it is a concern, how little payload it has. However a full tank of fuel could weigh 90kg, and half a fresh water tank water up to another 45kg.

    Thanks Bob and Jenny for this interesting review. Jenny's comments about issues with raised beds echo my wife's own concerns. Some beds are too high and you bash heads on the roof and some steps are odd heights. We looked at a Bailey 75-2 on the weekend; very nice. Seemed quite spacious and Bailey have done a good job making use of it all. Thanks again.

    Excellent honest review. Just a couple of points. If you don't need the table and can get away with a tray its better to take the table and leg complete out. It leaves a much bigger lounge area. When it comes to the fridge. I heard you say the bottle storage in the door is not good. The bottom slide out part is actually a bottle storage. It takes 9 bottles and/or veg storage. One good point with the fridge is it copes well with hot weather. We live in spain and are out all yr. We set the fridge on number 3 and if the day temperture goes above 25c turn it up to 4. Then switch back to 3 at night. These tips may be useful.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Год назад

      Yes the fridge is a good one, we tended to fill the bottom part with food as we had the extra fridge in the garage

Made me smile when you were moving the driving seat about and Poppy being annoyed he he , I think the table would annoy us a little as like you say its a little large for the seating area. The tv is very high no wonder you get a creak in your neck. The bedroom though looks ideal nice beds and easy to get onto, liked the little cupboards in the middle. Where has the 3 weeks gone too. You will soon be on your travels again. Take care x Julie and Tony x

    Brilliant review as ever Bob, they are really lovely vans, had a good look around one at Kimberley caravans in Darlington ( near me ) very impressed with them, if we were after a motorhome i would certainly consider buying one of these. Debz loves the idea of the worktop on the oven top, something she will be asking Scot at Consort to look into and see if it will be possible to do on there vans, as she has heard stories of people dropping things on the top and it smashing ! What a palaver with the forward facing seats. With a gwneras onternal width you can't beat a side 4 seat dinette with a table set up belted seats and a clear gangway and settee opposite. There's no setting up. Lots of coachbuilts had this layout decades ago.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Год назад

      That what I thought originally. The Adamo can tow up to 1000kg, if plated at 3500kg MTPLM. Mike Northeast of Tow A Frame says that in case of any incident what the police will look at is the towed car's Mass In Service figure, which is on the V5. Now the VW Up MIS is 928kg, so I could tow our Up with an Adamo. The Mass in service is the weight of the vehicle plus 75kg for a driver, which obviously it won't have when being towed. Now previously I thought the towed car's MAM is what was used, but common sense says it's going to be nowhere near that weight.

    • @soreeyesuk
      @soreeyesuk Год назад

      @@BobEarnshawMoHo Bob the one I looked at was plated to 3500 kg but the trainweight on the vin in the gas locker showed 0 kg which indicates it can't tow as the law states No trainweight No tow ? Also I can't see any reference to towing limits in the tech spec .

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Год назад

      I think I've confused the towing capacity of the Adamo with the Autotrail F Line. Bailey quote a Gross Train Weight of 4250kg for the Adamo, which is only 750kg towing capacity!

    • @kimdeabill8540
      @kimdeabill8540 Год назад

      @BobEarnshawMoHo this was an Adamo 69 something. Only a 3500 and the literature said you couldn't tow with it and the plate confirmed 0 towing weight. Shame as it's a lovely motorhome.

    Excellent review but i cant hep thinking the 3.5t weight limit gives these vans a shorter "shelf life" It must affect the build quality to some extent when they have to get under that weight and also provide even the tiny payload this one does . It will be a relief to everyone when they finally get rid of the silly 3.5 t limit for younger drivers and manufacturers can add a bit of " heft" to the interiors of these vehicles again !!

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
