We woke up early to catch up our bus heading to the city of Niagara Falls. Our bus leaves at 8.30AM and we were running and almost missed it as we didn't realize that the station was still a few minutes walk from the entrance of the Union Station. 🏃🚍
The bus trip to Niagara Falls from Toronto is super exciting and you can get to see a lot of wineries from both sides of the highway. There are a lot of wine-producing companies in the province of Ontarion. 🍷
We arrived at the Bus Station in Niagara Falls City and we walked to the Falls. However, we decided to look for something to ear first as we haven't taken anything yet since the departure time was too early for us! Most hotels and inns were closed either for the season or because of the pandemic. 🤤
Finally, after more than an hour of walking and checking out, our hungry stomachs went excited as we approached the Clifton Hill, where the actual Niagara Falls is located (it is like a small city with a lot of international hotel chains and restaurants to choose from.) We ate first before the excursion and I got spaghetti with meatballs! 😍😋🍝
While departing the restaurant, something did scare me as I went to the washroom! 😱🐮🦌
The Niagara Falls is the collective name of the three main falls with waters coming from the Great Lakes (Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Ontario!). This falls borders the United States of America and Canada. There are two main falls from the American Side: the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The third one is the Horseshoe Falls or the Canadian Falls. This huge creation of God provides electricity to the major areas surround the Falls through hydroelectric power generation. 🧐🤓👷♨️💧🇺🇸🇨🇦
We spent too much time in Niagara Falls and we weren't able to calculate the travel time to the bus station, so I decided to book an uber so that we can make it to our bus! Indeed, we would've missed our trip back home if we decided to walk! After arriving in Toronto, we directly went a city walk around Spadina Avenue and Kensington Market, where we had our dinner at Ajisen Ramen ( Ajisen is the company where my classmates in college had their OJT in Singapore). 🏃♂️🚘🍜
After a sumptous meal, we continued our city walk and decided to grab some drinks at the Village, the LGBT District of Toronto. 🏳️🌈🍻🍸
It was a tiring but an awesome day and we all had fun, and sore legs! 🤩🤣
