TRIP REPORT | Air Canada - A330 300 - Montréal (YUL) to Toronto (YYZ) | Economy

- Welcome to another trip report!
On February 9, I flew an Air Canada A330 on an hour-long flight in Economy from Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport. They often fly large aircraft on this route because they either swap these aircraft between the hubs, or use the large aircraft to handle the high-passenger counts connecting through Toronto during the evening departures bank. I had a great flight because the crew members were awesome! The seat and service were quite standard, but no complaints from me for a quick hop like this.
I hope you enjoy the trip report!

What a nice gesture of this agent leting you boarding first just to film the empty cabin! Love it 😚
So glad with your new post.
My cat, adopted him three years ago at age 13. He fall ill, on his last legs now. I can do with some distraction, Quentin.
Seeing the wing configurations when taking off and landing will never surprise me!
I appreciate it! Sending love to your cat 🐈
Awesome trip report like always! Love that wing view.
The new Microsoft flight simulator lookin fine af 👀
Beautiful views, the snow covered cities and towns look like something out of a fairy tale.
Thumbs up for the gate crew! Please continue these videos. I need to live vicariously through you.
I saw that same plane you were on when I went plane spotting one time at Toronto Pearson Airport.
tonight's Q re-view features friendly airline employees, orange juice and pretzels, and nice scenery out the windows. thanks for sharing qman!!
Air Canada’s crew is awesome when it comes to supporting Avgeeks inflight. Nice report!
Great trip report. It's nice to fly on an A330 on this short flight.
Excellent production! Thank you for sharing.
All these Canadian flights is making me want to visit! Loving the little music teases at the outro!!
YUL Is one of my favorite airports as well! Love all the open spaces and the tarmac views are AAAAMAZINGGG!
Views are amazing! It has always been a dream of mine to go to Toronto! Hopefully I will one day!
Great vision on take off...and it looks bloody cold out there !! When this Pandemic is over Canada is right at the top of my list !! Thanks again...great video !!
Another great video
Excellent trip report!
what an awesome flight report !
That's nice of the crew to let you record in advance. Did they know who you were in advance, or did you ask them like quietly when it wasn't too busy?
Awesome trip report!
I love your content quintin
The A330 has one of the best looking wingtips and main landing gear in the airplane world! Love to see how the gears lift and also touch the ground.
Awesome intro !!!
Thanks QFS !!
do you know when US borders are gonna open to flight from South America or Europe?
I love this channel
Cool video!! Subscribed!
Very nice
Nice trip! Why did Air Canada fly one of these big planes for very short flight? They're usually used for 2+ flights and long haul air travel, but did they show the safety video on these old video system screens?
Nice video
That plane comes from Geneva before your flight. Some people are done in Montreal but everyone else from that flight goes through a special customs checkpoint then they get back on the plane, and that way it can be a domestic flight
Great report my friend! I need to visit Canada soon. I always get confused... There use to be an Old airport at Montreal no?
This is the newer one? I can't remember if the old one is only used for freighter operation.
YUL is technically the older airport haha. In the 70s the city opened Mirabel to replace YUL with more capacity for passenger traffic, except the airport was too far from the city and hard to get to. The passenger boom people were expecting to overwhelm YUL never came and so it stayed the main airport in MTL and Mirabel is now only used for cargo and gen av flying, as well as Bombardier/Airbus manufacturing.
@@brodeurprice Thank you for the explanation! I knew I was somewhat close hahaha.
no worries ! they’re doing a massive reno of YUL these days so it’s easy to think it’s brand new haha
Did you see the parked people movers? They’re the same as IAD. They came from YMX. Was only transport to aircraft.
belle vidéo , like
AWESOME VIDEOS
LOVE THE CHANNEL
DO YOU Know if They Are Getting Rid of Retiring The Canada Rouge A319s OR A320s From the Rouge Fleet ????
Thank you! As of now it’s just the 767s and A319s
The aircraft that you are on they use that on the Toronto via Montreal to Geneva, Switzerland
Min 6:41 what are those Cars?

These two A330 aircraft are continuing fights to Toronto from BRU & GVA. They return back from YYZ-YUL early evening.

🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Flew on this plane to London in 2013.
hey..come for biman bangladesh airlines boeing 787-9
It's so rare for me that they use A330's on the YUL- YYZ route because they usually use Q400s and A321s on that route
It's done pretty frequently, actually.
Awesome video! It's so cool to travel on wide-bodies on such short flights. Makes it more enjoyable =D
BRO HOW DO U AFFORD ALL THIS!!!!????????
Watching trip reports bc it’s the closest thing to flying as of right now
When I watch your vids I get so happy your are awesome man keep up the good work stay safe
What a beautiful plane! It brings back so many memories I had flying these to Europe 😍
love your videos, well done. fly safe, be safe. thanks for sharing.
I choked once on a herringbone.
Have faith in God and He will provide for all your needs in this recession ❤😊
Very nice!👏
Theres not only dosens of moovies
Have you flown air Inuit? Keep up the great vids
Heard the PGA Tour on CBS at the very end of the video! 😂
Dottie Pepper and Nick Faldo, golf fans will know what I am talking about.
Great video man! I really love Air Canada and their service on short flights. Even on my 30 minute dash 8 Q300 flights I recently took to film a Trip Report on I got served an Orange Juice. We were only at cruise alt for like 10 minutes haha. Even something as simple as a drink and a bag of pretzels goes a long way on these short flights. Great review, liked
Yes! New video!
Nice video, I would not want that IFE on a long haul flight.
Dang nice video! I was going to do a trip report. But covid-19 cancelled it. I’m making many types of videos. You should check them out!
I had to keep rewinding cause there was too much information, and the way it’s presented-in subtitles-is much more difficult to follow along than what they call a voiceover or narration :/
fly on a delta airbus a220 sometime please first class or air canada a220 with the high speed ifes once covid 19 restrictions lift
@@liflyer0413 when
Hehe, Liking the Linkin Park at the end ^^
Someone noticed haha! If you haven't realized by now, I use a song that I listened too on my trips and play it during the outro so I always remember it
That's clever!
I haven’t seen anyone wearing face masks for airborne protection during the flight ✈️. No precautions at all during principles of COVID-19
I dont know about you, but I think yul is kinda poorly designed especially for the parking garage & when you fly internationally
The parking garage at YUL pisses me off too haha. The whole airport actually is just designed inconveniently
STAR ALLIANCE looks much bigger than Air Canada, as if the plane is owned by the former. The passenger will never say he travelled on a Star Alliance flight. He will only say he flew on Air Canada. Why do Airlines accept such terms to highlight the club's name much larger than Thier own identity?
Can you come to Birmingham Alabama?
When’s the next Alaska air trip report?
What happened to keeping up with the tripreporters
2:12. 777’s and 787’s are also common
