Corinne Nekingam Yay, I’m so happy it came out great!! I’m so excited to see how the Eru turns out, please keep my updated.. Thank you so much for watching!
this is exactly the way my mum prepared it. i dont eat ndolo from outside cuz people cook it with alot of ingredians some even add tomatoes, galic. this is the way Sawa people cook it and its so yummy, am a cameroonian much love from America😘

The groundnut is sold without the skin, but if you don’t have access to it, you can soak regularly groundnut, once it’s soft, rub it together, that way the skin can easily come off.
Beautiful recipe! I love how u used baking soda instead of Akanwa I tried cooking Ndole with Akanwa & ended up not liking it because the Akanwa didn’t properly desolve in water. I could feel the sand while eating it. Definitely going to use baking soda next time.
Mz Eva Thank you so much, and I know that sad feeling of eating food with sand in it. I’m so glad this recipe helped you. Let me know how it turns out when you make it.
I literally just subscribed! Thanks but my question is how many packs bitter-leaf did you use? Also how much groundnut? With ndole I feel like it has to be equal so it doesn’t surpass if you know what I mean? Thanks
TheCamgirl25 Thank you so much for subscribing. And I’m sorry this video is over two years old, so I honestly don’t remember . But I believe it was either 3 or 4 cause I never buy more than 4 packs.. And I always just put enough granut that I’ll still be able to taste it and know that it’s Ndole. Plus if your granut is too much, the Ndole will be too white.
@@stephanieasoh Thank you. I have watched other videos and sometimes I sound like some say dolé and others sound like n-dolé. I am planning too....i make some today and wanted to make sure I'm pronouncing it correctly..lol thanks again.
you mentioned that you've added baking powder, I hope you meant baking soda because that what is often used a replacement. Nonetheless you ndole looks great!!
It's "your ndolè" and not the Original Old SAWA NDOLÈ recipe >47eme sur 500 participants au concours culinaire mondial 2023 the steeps to add ingredients (no white pepper nor...) preparing during not less than 2 hours...

Thank you! Lol how was your first experience?
Nice 😍😍
looks yummy. how do you do to get your ndole to be that green. thts what i am looking for?
Thank you! I think the baking soda helps with that. Apart from that, the bitterleaf I used was fresh and green so I think that contributed a lot too
Pls how can we remove the skin from the raw groundnuts before cooking
The groundnut is sold without the skin, but if you don’t have access to it, you can soak regularly groundnut, once it’s soft, rub it together, that way the skin can easily come off.
@@stephanieasoh ok thanks so with this method of soaking severally for the skin to be removed should I still cook it
Yes, still cook it.
@@stephanieasoh thanks
For people who doesn't eat penuts, can we do it without?
Ndole without peanut is not ndole . It is just vegetables

Hello Steph question do I put the baking soda in the water before adding the ndole?
Mz Eva hello, and yes Mz Eva, you put the baking soda first so it dissolves in the water.
Okkk if I want to cook 3packed how many spoons of Baking soda should I put it

Miam-miam 👌
What is the english name for ndole?
Ndole. You can probably describe what it’s made of if you want someone to understand what you’re talking about, but Ndole is Ndole.
@@stephanieasoh okay.
I thought the leaf used in making it has an english name.
@@anitawalters9250 , bitter leaf
How to remove that bitterness 😭
Thank you for the recipe. Just curious of the pronunciation. Is it n-dolé or just dolé?
It’s N-dole lol, just the way I pronounced it in the video.
@@stephanieasoh Thank you. I have watched other videos and sometimes I sound like some say dolé and others sound like n-dolé. I am planning too....i make some today and wanted to make sure I'm pronouncing it correctly..lol thanks again.
Lol the N can be silent. It’s like saying Psychology lol the p is silent but you somehow still say it. Lol I’m not sure if my example makes sense 😂😂
Yummyyy. Tfs

Baking powder or baking soda my dear??
Carine Armelle baking soda!
