Oh yum. Colonel Kernel watched your video with me. He wasn’t impressed until he realized it was for food. My husband would have loved the crab dip. I probably would have liked the flavor, but some spice or flavoring added while making imitation crab upsets my constitution and I dare not be unconstitutional. The bruschetta aka little bread disks with stuff look great. I think my constitution would be ok with that. For Thanksgiving I usually fix a relish plate and a cheese platter, but the past couple of years have been out of the norm. However, I don’t cook Christmas dinner. When I was with family our tradition was for my husband and son in law to make breakfast, then my husband and I made finger foods, appetizers, hor d’ouvres, canapés, antipasto, crudités, nibbles, and so on. We would graze all day. No pigs, geese, ducks, or turkey were sacrificed for our meal.😊

😮I didn’t know imitation crab came in a pouch from Chicken of the Sea. I’ve always purchased it by the pound at my local supermarket meat counter. A zillion thanks for that! The entire video is fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes I substitute fresh ginger shredded for horseradish.

Thanks so much for the reminder about imitation crab dip - and your recipe. Lucky for me, we have 99 Cent Only stores, and while almost everything is well over $.99 they do get a good brand of refrigerated "crab" for $1.99. I prefer to use the chopped onion or powder seasoning to a dip mix as it doesn't have all the sodium or fake stuff, and it's all onion-better taste. Sometimes if I'm making a larger quantity I use cocktail sauce instead--just enough to make the cream cheese softer. And I've been using that "cream cheese" for years.
