To the people that actually saw the Matrix Trilogy in theaters.We actually loved the sequels. No one complained or said the second or third movie was bad. As a matter of fact the second movie made everyone go f**king nuts because of the awesome fight scenes we had not seen before those movies.
How old were you? Besides the badass fighting, I didn't like the 2 other movies, they felt weak compared to the masterpiece that was the first. But as I grew older I learned to appreciate them as a whole cinematic experience. It's the opposite of the Star Wars prequel lol
I like the three movies. I think i prefer revolution before reloaded, but the twk are good. And the final battle in revolutions is the best fight in the trilogy. Greeting!

well they typically have more complex background, the protagonist often has more simple motives , he killed someone i love, or save the world fight evil etc of course we get 2 dimensional antagonists too, but i think its more normal to have simplistic protagonists as it makes it easier for the veiwer to imagine themselves as the hero

Resurrections is probably the weakest Matrix film, but that's still a high bar. I thought the film was really good.

I don't know why people didn't like the ending of the Matrix. For me it was pretty good. Also Hugo Weaving played Agent Smith very well, I don't think anyone can come even near his role.
