None of the songs during the early Floor era were actually written for her. She learned the setlist, then made the songs her own. Later Nightwish music were written for Floor's vocal talent. Floor is a Swiss Army Knife of vocals, even though she is Dutch.

Still for all the incredible music you've been able to save from Algo oblivion, you haven't yet found what you didn't even know you were looking for. Recommended this Dutch gem the other day, so this is an easy CTRL-v 😁 You'll definitely enjoy Ayreon! All of the melodic metal greats in the vocal realm meet there (some of whom you know already..). So here goes: "Ayreon - The Day That The World Breaks Down - The Source (2017)". After that one, the live concerts will give you chicken skin upon goosebumps, e.g. "Ayreon - Everybody Dies (Ayreon Universe)". Enjoy! 🤘🤘
True Word Bro, it is totally awesome to like an era or lineup of Nightwish or like me All Nightwish Music, eras or lineups. But what is not cool is to behave like children type "..My Father is better than your Father..", because it really gets no one anywhere, since everyone have their preference or taste of Music, genre, band, band lineups, singers, drummers etc. So just listen to the ones you prefer or like and let others choose their own, one is not going to change anyone's mind by telling their own favour is the Best and then kinda say any other opinion, lineup, band or vocalist is worse or shit, right.. Only under developed minds do that childish thing..
EXACTLY!!! Its the same as the different eras of Black Sabbath or any band! But peoples memories in life can get attached to these different eras so I can understand totally but its like you said no one era is better than another and they all do something magical for everyone! We are actually lucky to have so many eras of Nightwish! They have grown along with their fanbase and have made it through what would have ended a lot of bands a few times over so at the end of the day you have to respect the undying magic of such a band like Nightwish!!!
