- A young woman travels to Paris after being accepted into a prestigious dance academy, but her dreams are put on hold as everything comes crashing down around her.
This is my 3rd year film which has made it into CIIFF and the New York Shorts Film Festival! This was animated entirely in Covid Lockdown.

Loved the dancing, done with so much knowledge. Superb the scene when she danced on the window sill in front of the nightly Paris. Can imagine one about a painter who struggels to create his masterpiece....🏆

I love how you captured that glorious feeling of being a ballet dancer! It's a reminder to me to not get too focused on the details when animating as long as you just communicate that feeling through your drawings! Thanks for that lovely reminder! 🤩🤩🤩

Thank you very much for this wonderful comment 😀 Animating ballet is quite the challenge but so satisfying when it's finished. Tutorials sound like a fun idea and I think I may explore doing that in the future!
@@madimationanimation343 Just watched it a second time and I realised that didn't say anything about the story you told here. I think it's a wonderful reflection of how those who achieve success in life don't lead care-free lives. For me, it's so easy to think that everyone who's achieved success has had a way easier walk through life than me, but really, Who am I to judge? I don't know anyone else's life journey but my own. So I appreciate that your story shows that man, life's hard but that should us from trying to get what we want.

Thank you! Exactly we all have our own stuff that we're going through. This is definately a story about doing your best to succeed in a competitive world. And yeah you can have success in life but still struggle with something like mental illness and stress. Thank you for giving my animation a second look and sharing your interpretation, really appreciate it! 😀
