Sir where are located If I want to learn directly?
Sir . I have a Question. If a rectangular column contact with beam in three different directions how should I model this on etabs... Should i used link if the beam is actually eccentric in column
If the eccentricity to each beam is not that high then u can model the beam at column centre..otherwise connect the beam end wd column centre using rigid links..
Please clear my one doubt about Response plot:
Why lateral load in stroy & lateral load in diaphragm value is different for Eq load?
If u assign separate diaphragms at each floor level then obviously the plot will show forces for individual diaphragm.. but story forces will be as usual... if u assign same diaphragm definition at all floor lvl then those will be will same as story force plot
@@ilustraca i model a 10 story building...all floor have same diaphragm...just one floor have 2 diaphargm....then lateral force in stroy and lateral force in diaphragm are shown different value...why
