I love how Anxiety is depicted in the film that we got. With Self-Loathing, it's almost like 2 sides of one character, which would be interesting yet clunky, because you'd be confused at which character was being which. Furthermore, Self-Loathing is much more villainous than Anxiety's antagonistic behavior. With Anxiety, she was only doing what she thought was best for Riley without a single evil vein in her body. Safe to say, I'm glad Self-Loathing wasn't a character and more or so a thought with Riley's new Sense of Self that Anxiety created: "I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"
Yes I agree with what they went with, but it’s a shame self-loathing didn’t have a place because the character is by far the most interesting. The idea of her being an older emotion works with how ‘adult’ self loathing can seem. Her being professional and intimidating was imo a genius way to portray what’s ultimately a destructive emotion
Self loathing: hey Kelsey Mann! Are you happy now that go got us relegated and srap for stupid reason why we suck, who do we think we are? Stupid? Shame: we are going to get revenge on you for scraping us! And you will be sorry!
To be fair to Riley, Grace started the mud-flinging with the "stealing credit card" comment. She doesn't really have the right to be hurt when Riley fires back.
I mean, picking up context clues. I wonder what happened between them up to this point for Grace to want to target Riley. In the movie we got our girl was an asshole to her friends, something similar probably went on here and this is the consequence.
Yeah, Margo from Despicable Me 4 also turned 13, went to her new middle school & got pranked by someone from the school. And she proclaimed "Teenagers are the worst!" 😂
I’m glad the shame spiral scene was cut off. Imagine the aftermath: the long term memory lanes destroyed, the personality islands destroyed, all the mind workers forming an angry mob at Headquarters.
I just love to see all the early stages of development! It's really fun to watch and think about in general. Even if they didn't make the cut, they are all still masterpieces by themselves! ❤🎉
Tbh, It's kinda Joy's fault that Riley ruined everything. She made Riley push Grace into the pool like she was trying to get rid of her. Like bro Joy why did you do that? Was there such a big need to do that?
Thank you for uploading this video. Can you please upload the behind the scenes too? I would like to watch how the voice actors did their acting. Please….❤️
Grace is the one who started with the credit card stealing thing . I would have did the same and the girl who says " remind me to not be your enemy " looks like the cool girl with blue dyed hair and wears eyeshadow .
20:21 This Scenes It's completley Good I Think They Hired in inside out 3 with Shame and New Emotions Are Different This Scene I think It's gonna be Great.
@@Redhawk099 Yes, because imo it ups the anty and gets you hyped right from the get go. It also focuses on one of Riley's prime hobbies from the first movie, which makes you realize it's the same character but older.
The Pool Party scene was cringy and unnecessary from Joy's side. What was the need to do push Grace if she doesn't know how to swim. As a frien she should've known that. The Never Have I Ever scene, I truly empathize with Riley here. Grace had no business revealing that among people Riley didn't know. That is hurtful. Bree trying to defend Grace made her look annoying. Val too. Glad they took these scene out
Shame: this is so unfair, the Director, the creators, and the writer should add me in the movie because I’m awesome, but no, they scrapped it because I’m to dark, seriously, those idiots will pay for this! Self loathing: tell me about it, I was scrapped to because anxiety is better than me!

I hated Grace so much in that scene ugh

all that to say maybe Riley hurt Grace before what we see xD
@@cooltunacan Nah, all that to say they made the right call scrapping this scene
Let that be a lesson, Grace; DON’T pick a fight you DON’T wanna finish
the shame scene was good, and really shined on how teenagers actually act in real life and how disrespectful and petty some of them are.
Yeah, Margo from Despicable Me 4 also turned 13, went to her new middle school & got pranked by someone from the school. And she proclaimed "Teenagers are the worst!" 😂
Shame and Self-Loathing are terrifying and dark emotions 💀

I'm glad "pool party" was cut purely because the secondhand embarrassment would've been too much for audiences.
And Anxiety morphing herself into Self-Loathing is too dark and throwing the OG emotions out of headquarters.
it's so fun! it would've made me want to crawl out of my skin and hide haha
Same not gonna lie Turning Red was Pixar's cringe moment, and it failed

also both grace and riley making fun of each other's secrets not even 15 seconds ago:

Self-Loathing looks like The Beldam from Coraline.
Right
The pool party got changed to Hockey Camp. And when the video ended, the scene where Riley falls apart, it was a cliffhanger.
*Bree:* What were you thinking, Riley?! You know she can’t swim!
*Me:* And yet she came to a POOL party.
I wish they’d make some sort of mini episodes maybe that include these scenes
it looks very interesting
