I think not taking damage was a little extreme and not necessary, but you do you. Here's an idea beating Miles Morales or Spider-Man without "doing" damage. But your able to webs, gadgets everything BUT punching. (square)
There are three instances of forced damage, the initial tutorial, the nuform reactor, and when Uncle Aaron shoots you to kidnap you your HUD appears for a second, and if you pause the video at the right time you can see part of your health bar is red Edit: There’s actually four because there’s also when Miles gets kidnapped by Roxxon, after they beat him up and when you use the Venom explosion for the first time the HUD appears for a second and you can see that a lot of it is green, which means you got healed and you can only get healed if you took damage
