    Drop the overlaid music. It makes it harder to understand what you are saying. The birds are a great background audio for a forest environment and the sounds you and the equipment make while climbing and moving around in the canopy are interesting. I had to keep adjusting the volume when you switched between the overlay and when you were speaking. Thanks for making the video and for your equipment list.

    Would you recomend climbing alone? I really Enjoy climbing with My Friend who became an arborist and he has taught me alot about the Craft. He takes me with him from time to time and that's how I learn.
    I have complete climbing Gear for DRT and really Love it, I feel comfortable with the setup and I understand how it works.
    But since he is the only One I can climb with and he doesent have the time to do it as often as I would like I am thinking about climbing by myself, pure recreational climbing. I have climbed trees My whole life just as high with a rope as without One. And for me it feels safer to have a rope than not.
    You Chanel is amazing, and this video made me want to go climbing.

      I couldn’t recommend anyone do what I do on this channel. At your own risk you know? But I love what I do and from time to time I feel comfortable climbing around in the backyard. Most of the time I have no one to climb with.

    my product is a lot shorter and compact small like the kimbo but mine is got the crazy amount of the braking strength that gives the climbers the extra security that they need when doing SRT....I like a smaller compact product due to the fact that hand over hand needs to have long extension movement to lessen the fatigue of a climber while ascending trees.

    I’m using 11 mm Yale Safari Kernmantle. It’s working great.

      Hey man, So how’s yr xstatic holding up with the rr-pro now?? I’ve been using sterling htp… It’s been ok but does flatten after serious sessions… And it’s on the list of recommended ropes!

    Of all the carabiners that you have used, which one is your favorite?

    • @chtclimbing
      @chtclimbing  2 года назад +1

      SM’d by petzl. I like it because of its strength to weight. It’s the lightest carabiner I’ve ever seen. It’s lighter than DMM’s shadow and PerfectO

    Is your blue moon still flat? Seems like that's typical when always using the same side of your rope. Maybe try using the other end. Maybe that'll fix it and maybe it would make your rope fat in the middle.

    • @chtclimbing
      @chtclimbing  3 года назад

      Blue moon is irreversibly flat. KMIII might be my next climbing rope for SRT.
