Bla blue, Can you gimme some tips for the panther D? I kinda expected it to be a near impenetrable fortress in down tier. Mainly because I havent actually killed one (I have, But I've only killed braindead panthers who think rushing into the enemy spawn is a good idea) My expectations were immediately demolished with the Long 88mm from the Tigers barrel, It can even pen the upper frontal plate! Jeez, And since the map is pretty small (and if you even get seen your marked on the map) there's a low chance of actually enjoying the panther, How do I get gufd
I'm not BlaBlue, but. There's honestly not much that won't get screwed over by the long 88 if the person in the Tiger II has any semblance of aiming skill. 236mm of pen doesn't play around. Also doesn't help that the center area of either side of the turret and especially the edges can be penned by just about anything tier 4 can offer, let alone 5 and 6. Really the Panthers armor in any case onoy works at range.. Which is something that can't really happen here on Mobile. So you kinda have to play the Panther like you don't have any armor. It's still got good mobility, so use it basically like the VK in tier 4. The armor should just be considered something that might occasionally save you more often.
@@friedpotato184 Well, even the Tiger 1 and 76mm armed Shermans have enough pen to go through the front of the Panthers turret if they hit the correct spots. It'd be a different story at longer ranges, since they do loose enough pen to not be able to do so at distances of around 1/1.5km, but.. We don't have any of those distances in game really right now. Honestly that's one reason I don't play the Panthers. I do enjoy the VK, but that's basically because it's just a big light tank with how fast it is.
@@friedpotato184I recommend the is-2 but you have to be smart while using it, turn your hull around as the is-2 has major weaknesses in the front such as the driver's hatch and lower front glacis, after firing a shot drive behind a rock (with your back still facing the enemy) while turning your turret left and right so they don't aim at the cheeks, i don't know about the other vehicles because I still haven't unlocked them
