    These ulltramafic gossans get a lot more interesting when they are black, and the silica goes to green chalcedony. Cheers!

    U should tell us what an Ultramafic rock is. I’ll look that up, as well.

      It's mostly serpentinite in this area, but probably started out as a dunite before being altered to serpentine minerals.

    Is that ultramafic goasans is listwanite body?!

      Those outcrops probably don't have enough carbonate overall to qualify as listwanite. The majority is serpentinite. I suspect the patches of carbonate represent alteration of small lenses of dunite.
