thank you kevin , one thing puzzled me. do you plug the BBE on the dedicated microphone xlr input ?
I have a marshall AS50D acoustic amp and it does have also a phantom xlr output for microphone. does it work the same or better than if the BBE was plugged between the guitar and amp with a 1/4 jack ? the microphone input does not seems to be used that way , no ? thank you

I plug the guitar into the 1/4” input, but then use the XLR out to leave the BBE and run that into the amp. Make sure the pre/post button is set to post if you want the sound of the BBE to hit the amp. Some folks run the 1/4” out to the amp and the XLR to the house system but I rarely use a larger system with mine since we play small clubs. If I missed the question please let me know. Thanks!

@@MrKevindollarI tried this configuration before your message and nothing seemed to work until "Make sure the pre/post button is set to post if you want the sound of the BBE to hit the amp" . that was my mistake !!! thank you so much for your time and kindness. cheers from Israel.

Hi! Do you know if this pedal is useful with an electric guitar with humbucker pickups? Thanks!

Ezequiul it’s made for acoustic but it would give you plenty of EQ and the sonic maximizer if you plugged in an electric. I tried it out for you and it does work fine but while it sounds clean and provides a balanced line to the PA, it has no preamp character...no distinct sound that an electric amp will provide. If you like just the tone of your guitar unaltered it might be a way to go for running direct to PA.

Thanks for your answer, Kevin! I was looking for an EQ, and a friend of mine recommended me this pedal, but all the reviews are made with acoustic guitars, so I don't have idea of what it sounds plugged with an electric. What I looking for is an extern device to have more control on my tone, because sometimes when I play a gig some people say that my sound is not defined, and that's a big problem. I was thinking about buying the MXR 10 band EQ or something like that. Would you recommend me this BBE pedal or an equalizer? The use that I would give to that would be connected to my amplifier using only the clean channel, I like jazz sounds... Thanks again, man!

What amp are you playing through? Once I know that I may be able to help more!

I have a Peavey Valveking 212.. but I'm thinking about getting one smaller, this amp sounds good but is very difficult to move with
