Thanks Jerry I am now well educated in driving the MG 1.6 GDI here in the UK. On Mon the 1st of July 2024 i met a fellow van driver in Glasgow who put me off the main roads for a time, my Insurance Company hired me a replacement car later the same day, but with no instructions on how to operate it like even a quick guide /card for it's functions of how to use it. My wife got Motability in 2023 so I could sell my own car to save on costs {Gov Pension}. Thanks again dear friend.

Great video picked up our new MG HS Trophy 1500turbo petrol yesterday video has been very helpful and what a lovely car to drive took a little getting used to but not long had a seven seat Vauxhall Zafira Elite Turbo before but the kids are all older now so did not need seven seater we had that from 2018 until today 27/03/2004 still only had just under 30,000 miles on it as since retiring through ill health don't do that much milage anymore. Put old car up for sale today and was sold today result.

Nice video and a nice car. I am using the 2021 model and I feel some stiffness in the steering wheel when maneuvering , Any idea of why or any settings or suggestion to correct it?

Should the blind spot detection and lane change assist beep if i am trying to change lanes when there is a car in my blind spot? I can see the orange light in my car but there is no warning sounds
No beep.
Is there eco,normal and sport mode like in the normal HS in the phev version?
Also, can ambient light change colour depending on the driving mode for ehs? Cannot find these in my EHS

Very nice review. Do anyone know what would a fully charge battery and a full tank of petrol, driving on a motorway (auto mode). How far can i go before refuelling?
Roughly 600km depending on how you drive. The fuel tank is fairly small with 37 litres.

Hi, Thank you for the presentation. I‘d like to know if it is possible to drive in EV-mode only. I‘m living in Germany and did not understand everythink you have explained.
Yes you can drive the vehicle in EV mode only. The fully charged EV range is around 62km NEDC

Thank you. But how does it heat when it is cold? As far as I know there is no electric heater in the car. 🥲
@@dietmarp.9574 I haven't tried this on cold morning unfortunately. NZ here is quite hot at the moment. I don't think it will be a big problem heating up the vehicle in cold. If there is a great difference between the air con temperature and outside temperature, the vehicle will engage its petrol motor to heat up instead.

@@dietmarp.9574 we have had customer who used this vehicle for more than 4 months without using any gas. I think it is definitely possible. They travels around 40km each day.
Does this car comes with DAB radio ?
Not in New Zealand. I'm not sure about other countries.

How to change driving modes?
HS PHEV has no driving mode selection
