When i use zlink wireless android auto it is very laggy and music has a shutter but it works flawlessly when using it wired. Any advice to improve the wireless android auto
You can check if your phone also connected to other wireless devices, such as it connected to OEM Bluetooth, if yes , then disconnect it , the phone should just connect to CarPlay only
Thank you for this information. Just found out your channel and io am using the zlink app for wireless android auto. One question: The only odd thing about it is that not all the time when i get back to the car it connects right away to Android Auto. Sometimes it does not work. I have my android phone connected with the head unit for calls and audio and Wi/Fi on but sometimes it works sometimes not. Is there any specific way to make it work all the times? Also, can i use bluetooth connection for audio with thje android head unit to use zlink and bluetooth call connection with my car? It works better and the audio is better. Much apreciated.
The android unit can not use Bluetooth to play the audio , it go through AUX , about not connected all the time , yes I do also have this experience, to improve connection rate, you can have the phone connect to this CarPlay Only ( the phone not connected to OEM Bluetooth or other wireless device)
I have a problem with both of these and wonder if you can help? If I use zlink for apple car play when I restart the car the Bluetooth on the head unit is greyed out and zlink until I restart a 2nd time and then it work again. I bought a carlinkit dongle to overcome this which does work everytime but that will not mute DAB-Z when the phone rings? The only way Zlink will work everytime is to close the app down before switching off the car if that makes sense. Thanks in advance for any suggestions with either issues
You can see if ok to set the time as “ car time “ ( instead of android time ), the part: setting / time , if not work , contact your seller to get an update for the firmware
Zlink is the app that includes CarPlay, Android Auto , screen mirror link 3 functions, Android auto is for android phone, when you connect to android screen, it need to go through Zlink app, or , you can order an external dongle and install an “ autokit “ , then connect the phone to autokit app , then also ok to connect Android auto .

Consider the software update, it should not work like this .
Why is the Apple CarPlay using ZLink very sluggish and slow? Is it better when it’s plugged in?
I use Zlink CarPlay in my car everyday, I don’t find slow problem .

If I uninstall Zlink and install android auto by itself I would need the dongle to connect to android auto?

Does the Zlink App work with a wifi antena that we fit to the andriod head unit?
I don’t know what “ WiFi antenna “ you mentioned, the models we selling all built in WiFi , that is no need additional antenna.
@HifimaxOfficial i brought mine from veehive i am in the Uk and they provided a wifi antenna with the screen
normally, the wifi is for 4G LTE, that has nothing to do with Zlink, you better ask your supplier, different models, might be different. @@ALIH4SH
