Good review! Im staying at the Ramsgate Seafront Travelodge tomorrow. I just hope its as good as yours was. I dont think ive got a Super room though (its a cpmpany booking im on). I'll try to watch more of your videos. They're really good. Cheers. 👍
After stopping in over 20 travelodge's in the UK im certain they do their very best to hinder your mobile signal. Its always fine once you step outside but as soon as you cross the threshold it's like stepping back into 1998.
Seems like the quality of Travelodges is variable. I was looking at staying at one in York. The two central ones I looked at, one seemed superior to the other one based on reviews. In the end I booked somewhere else, so am not staying at either of them....at least this time.
I have a sleep disorder so have always gone to hotels with room service but when my car broke down I discovered Just Eat. If I stayed somewhere like this would reception let my delivery drivers up to my room if I explained my situation and they knew I was expecting them?
I have a question, sorry nothing to do with Travelodge but what is the camera you use for filming and the gimble you use. I’ve seen quick glimpses of it and my dutchie is into photography and filming. Hope you don’t mind me asking and thank you 😊xx
Of course we don’t mind! We film on a Sony ZV-E10. We don’t use a gimbal as such, we have a Joby Gorillapod which is a kind of hand-held tripod with flexible arms to allow you to stand or fix it to objects. Hope that helps 😊
You may be on to something about getting the furthest room. I stayed at an Extended Stay America and was placed in the farthest possible room PLUS the hallway was dark and creepy too 😂. Other than that it was a nice experience.
incorrect for 4 people not in a corner that’s most people not in the corner end in less then if you pay extra have you heard if EGE creeckside hotel and Wyndham hotel were in corner sweet and we payed probably a bit more for corner sweets 😊😊💰
I still feel terrible that it was my fault you stayed in that terrible travel lodge before 😬 sorry xx we stayed in one in Southampton and they left us a free twix in the fridge, but just one between two of us 🤷🏻♀️😂 glad this one was much better than the last one x
Always bring ( or get a small bottle of vinegar) run 50% vinegar / 50% water through the coffee maker, then plain water through it, to clean it. Sadly, no one there will do that, they may wipe down the outside of it but , they don’t do internal cleaning. My 2nd hint , acquire some bottled water to make the coffee, It vastly improves the taste of the coffee ☕️. I now return you to your regularly scheduled programs.😉 ❤ ☕️🌈
Love the bottled water suggestion, never thought of that. So glad we checked the coffee machine, luckily it’s only a coffee build up as opposed to something worse 😂
@@Bungle2010 Actually it doesn’t, google it. You use 50/50 of water & vinegar and run it through the Keurig. I then run plain water through, to clear out any residue. Then make your coffee ☕️ as directed. It’s good to do it every 30 days, you should also be cleaning the the exterior as well.
Hi There, i'm glad you had a good stay throughout and it exceeded your expectations. Cheers Peter
Yup it’s good
Personally, I prefer having a room at the far end of the corridor as you have less people passing to and from their rooms!
Never thought of it like that … good point! 😊
I agree

that hallway being unlit was super creepy!!! That croissant looked amazing too!!
It was definitely a vibe! The whole breakfast was great to be honest 🥐
Can you go to premier plus rooms in premier inn😊
It is on our list to try very soon 😊
You should try Aberystwyth premier inn it’s well nice and you could do another video there because there’s lots of tourist attractions ❤
At Sunday😊 the ☺️ room tour !!!
That was a fun review 😊
Thank you glad you liked it 😊
Just booked mytravel lodge room in London im normally a premier inn person but this was a better deal your video gives me hope it will be decent.
We hope you get a decent room and enjoy your stay. Did you choose a super room or a standard one?

Last time we stayed in a Travel Lodge the hall carpet had a long wide streak of black grease along it. But maybe your vid has changed our minds. 😉
Sounds like the one we stayed in previously 😂

Good to hear you survived the creepy hallway and had a good stay 😂
In the US, Travelodge is considered more of a motel than a hotel. Like a 1 or 2 star hotel. The ones in my city are located in terrible neighborhoods.
We have never stayed in a Travelodge in the US but they certainly are different looking to here and yes they don’t look great tbh

Just 1 twix!!?? Oh no I’d be straight to reception 😂
@@JJExtra knowing our luck it was probably left behind by the last guest 😂

Putting vinegar in a coffee machine can damage it.

Do you need to buy anything let me know on the replies
Sorry...I'm skeptical of this Travelodge.
Forget the super room. A standard room offering would be a better review.
We did stay at a standard room, it’s linked in the description.
Not impressed with video at all. Superrooms include free wi fi gave up after 7 minutes terrible video
