- Sofia Sanchez stole rapper Drake’s heart - and ours - over the summer while she awaited a heart transplant at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Three weeks ago, the 11-year-old finally underwent a successful transplant surgery, and NBC senior national correspondent Kate Snow caught up with the energetic young girl who’s making the best of her recovery.

I cry every time
most of you guys wont believe me but i am the cousin of Sofia Sanchez, during the entire thing the entire family was just in shock knowing that one day that girl can be dead the next morning or something could happen during the entire thing. the person who donated the heart has an amazing heart and I am so joyful that she had a second chance at life and just that she had an opportunity to live again
