Just attaching yourself to voices that don't fall in line with the current dynamic happening in so many areas of societal foundations, whether that be in government, education, or our work environments, well done both Heather and Lawrence for being non-compliant, and for sharing your time, work, knowledge and experience in an open media environment, peace

I agree with Heather. I went to "The Yale of the Midwest," where we also studied "Deconstructionism," as part of the English program. I instantly put the whole enterprise aside, once decapitation and phallic symbols were somehow incorporated into great works of literature. I went on to read the classics (and other fine writing) as mere works of art and enlightenment... and I wish Ms. MacDonald had done the same earlier.

I work for a company that builds the railroads in Kentucky. We had a whole meeting to talk about respecting gender pronouns. You know the woke people have taken over when 60 year old men building the railroads in Kentucky have to hear about it. They did not take it well and the HR lady looked like she regretted bringing it up. It was interesting to see.

Heather Mac Donald asserts (at 26:24) that the result of an alleged refusal by judges and prosecutors to enforce the law so as not to send Black defendants to prison is "an incredible crime spike following the George Floyd race riots."
According to the F.B.I. report released on Sept. 23, 2024, "murder and non-negligent manslaughter recorded a 2023 estimated nationwide decrease of 11.6% compared to the previous year"; they also note that rape dropped by 9.4%, aggravated assault dropped by 2.8%, and robbery dropped by 0.3%.
I doubt that any judges or prosecutors have actually come out and said -- as Ms. Mac Donald tells us they have -- that they are not going to enforce the law, but I'll give her a pass on this and assume it's a rhetorical flourish. But the "incredible crime spike" she cites is flatly contradicted by the data. So, then, how much of the rest of Ms. Mac Donald's claims is accurate?

Very true! Almost everything that was discussed. However, as the true base and foundation of this matter actually is "stupidity" of humans, it will inevitably show itself in subtle ways or otherwise. Hers was feminism! Even one small touch on the subject was dismissed by her, although very cleverly but not to any experienced listener. And of course, Lawrence didn't press on!
Just that simple thing shows how the matter is getting looked at from any side. Ironically the exact thing she was complaining full heartedly!
This is the exact reason the whole matter exists. No one really looks at it objectively, hence leaving room for a lot of same level people, who usually are very animated, as their psychology is built on, to call the flaws and discredit the crédible main part!
Until that day, we'll all suffer one way or the other!

Afterwards my friend asked me if his coworker told me that he went to Yale and questioned how quickly he offered this tidbit to me. We laughted about how some people seem to be arrested in thier development ar some period of the past. I love how she doesn't have to explain the historic _drop_ in crime in the post-pandemic years. The "George Floyd effect" was thoroughly discredited years ago. Police weren't defunded. The pandemic was the primary factor and that's abundantly clear now. But, you know, it's more fun to say "blacks" over and over.

Lawrence has gotten horrendous with his “scientific reasoning” he fails so massively at times and particular when his political biases get involved it’s like he loses all ability to think. This entire conversation is full of total noscientific crap. He talks so much of human intellect and appears to have very little of it. Its demeaning to even let such Joe Rogan style nonsense go without an ounce of the critical analysis it deserves.
“Your problem is you think racism must be malicious before it can be racist.”
Somehow Lawrence achieves this mindless state of unscientific conversation.

Jeather said that largely racism does not exist any more on America. She is very far removed from the real world. I hate to say it but race and color are still a big obstacle. There is a famous video of a bkond child all alone in a busy street corner and the attention this chold gets from black good Samaritans whilst a black child is completely ignored.. We have a long way to go. We should be spending a fortune in the inner cities to give these children a break.

The Death of our tech-driven country is the dismantling of our educational tracking programs. Some students can run fast, some can think fast; we don't apply equity in track & field. Public High school is a total waste (or worse) for students pursuing STEM (or MUSIC) in the US. DEI is destroying virtually all professions, but of course all gov. agencies are systemically affected, so when you see FEMA, or NASA not be able to do some minimum performance, you can google the admin for confirmation. It's hilarious that progressives push diversity in Scotland....

Would you prefer government employees be allowed to gift their family members with cushy jobs?

why does Lawrence keep referring to his Canadian origins as if it's an excuse for his left wing beliefs. We are responsible for the ideas we accept as true and our nationality has nothing to do with it. He should know better. It sounds like a crude rationalisation for his sympathy toward some illiberal ideas.
