Love that you portrayed Hermes genuinely worried for Odysseus life. I know Hermes is such carefree god and a goofball, kinda like a gag character but i love that in this animatic you can see him really care for his great grandson, his family, his blood. I also like the subtle details that Hermes aiding with his journey home with or without Ody noticing. I also love Aeolus cameo and the way she also concerned for Odysseus.

The mast for the raft is a tree, like a full tree with the roots still there and just the canopy cut off. This is implying that whenever Odysseus makes something by hand, he always incorporates an at the time living tree into it. That is just wild characterization there.
The first time I heard dangerous, the jarring silence after “one goal in mind,” cause we’re expecting the crews voices except he doesn’t have anyone left was, so freaking cool

I don't know how I didn't see this sooner! I adored the expressions of the characters, and the designs that while still definitely recgonizable seem different, changed by time. I liked the bit with the snakes, and how it seemed Hermes really wished to aid his grandsone. The tone change between the begging and the end with Odysseous was very great and I feel you portrayed his change of attitude and reinvigorated determination very well.
Oh the little feather at the end, I think that is the hint for Ody? Athena is the one and she has associates with owls. If I’m right that is a really good ending
