Yes, the panels can activate each other using relays and monitor modules. The relay on one panel closes when it goes into alarm, sending a monitor module from the other panel into alarm. They can't talk to each other intelligently (only networked systems of the same brand can do that), but you can get a long way with this type of setup. You could even have relays activate on trouble or supervisory conditions so that it's reported across all panels.
I think my school has the same Gamewell panel along with the gamewell branded BG12, the gamewell smoke detectors that Newageserveralarm had for sale a couple years ago, and last but not least Spectralert Advance P2W
It's not a true recall, but they're strongly advising that all BG-10's be replaced. I'm seeing less of them, but many building owners don't want to pay the cost to replace pulls that are still "working" in their eyes.
TrueAlert Holy cow that was a long time ago 😂 I’ve now built an addressable panel of my own and have acquired several panels while working in the field. Crazy how things change.
The cheapest one on eBay is $499. Unfortunately, no one is going to give away a QS4 CPU since they're in demand for all the failures out there. It was cheaper to buy a new panel.
It would be nice to see you start the system by using the smoke detecters the way they were intended, By smoke. try lighting a peice of paper under it or something.
How much is a new motherboard and CPU for the Quick Start panel? Have you tried on ebay? some of the other fire alarm channels may have a Quick Start that they are no longer using or would be willing to trade it never hurts to ask.
at least the speaker strobe combo works we will try to get the strobe to work but my answer is whats causing it the shitty piece of unit inside of quickstart panel sucks to much that refused to work.
I'll be back soon! I've kinda lost interest in fire alarms and will be moving out of the country soon, but you can expect at least a few occasional videos.

Dear lord! Who in their right mind would use THAT slow whoop as a signal? Thats got to be worse then any horn I have heard!
A real panel is out of my budget so I decided to build one
