What happened to this production?
Never really interested in Far-Slide-Gate or "muppetz" being involved with sci-fi. Here is hoping that Simon Peg does not chock the movie full of unwanted stuff, and try to make it into another version of "fast and furious". This girl could be olivia newton john's daughter chloie's best friend's room mate's kid sister.
If you never watched Farscape, or only watched a few early episodes, you're missing out on some of the best sci-fi ever made, up there with Firefly.
Yes, the puppets can be a little offputting at first, but you get used to them, and the show tends to stumble a bit in the first season, but after that it finds its feet and then it's just amazing after that.
Do yourself a favor, try the show, and give it time to world-build. I guarantee you'll enjoy it so much that you'll even forget some of the characters are puppets.
