Star Tours: The Ultimate Star Wars Thrill Ride

Guests enter the Star Tours Spaceport with only a hint of what is to come as the familiar Star Wars characters C-3PO and R2-D2 are on hand for the welcome. The fact that R2-D2 is working to repair a battle-scarred StarSpeeder 3000 offers a sense of foreboding, otherwise it appears normal as Guests take in a sales pitch for the latest intergalactic travel packages now being offered by Star Tours. Once inside their StarSpeeder 3000, piloted by REX, a rookie droid unit also known as RX-24, passengers take off for the moon of Endor, hanging on for their lives as they head for a galaxy full of misadventure. Rex launches out of control, maneuvers through an unexpected encounter with an icy comet, and meets the evil forces of the Empire in an interstellar space battle.
