I am not sure that Sonny is a right winger for Ange but he is the only world class player of Spurs squad at the moment. NO one proved quality for years now.
@@SonnyTalksSpurs Son is the only player in Tottenham who generates more income than he cost in salary to the tune of net 30m a year profit before footballing revenue (tv and price money). Not even Kane was able to do this at Spurs in fact very few players do in any elite league. Asian/Korean direct sponserships, merchanising and lucrative tours was worth 49 million in 2022/23 accounts
@@SonnyTalksSpurs Son is not going to win silverware at Tottenham. Son should go to team that can guarantee him a silverware or he will regret it when he looks back. Son could have gone to any team two years ago. He would have been either the best or close second at Real, Barcelona, Bayern or ManC
I definitely think Son is definitely gonna go down as a Spurs legend, but I think we sadly have to move on after another year. The question is still, how will he be replaced, because we literally have no one who can replace him.
Son has never ever selfishly put his needs before the team. Too him the club always comes first. Money has never been n nor will it ever be what motivates him. He is determined too stick it out till the end even though the chances of winning anything at the Spurs are pretty much a for gone conclusion. It is a decision he will live with. Therefore he will never give up trying n become a sell out by taking the quickest easy route too a guaranteed championship winning football club, unlike the beloved "his one of our own" Harry Kane has done. I'm pretty sure Son feels that the Spurs fans are so deserving of a trophy n that he will do everything he can to achieve that for them bcuz it will be his way of repaying his appreciation for firstly signing him n secondly the die hard support they have shown over the years. Son is all abt loyalty, humility and integrity. He has gone above n beyond for this football club n for some of these twats who so call themselves Spurs fans to say he is not the same n that he is past his prime just on the backs of his recent run of form so the club should sell him off asap. Have U even watch the games properly. Versus Ipswich there are a few key moments that would of changed the games outcome n the Spurs would of been sitting in third position. Brennan Johnson had so many opportunities that would of lead too him scoring as well as assisting two goals for Son. However this man probably had the worst game of his career. Two minutes into the game Son makes the most beautiful cross in towards BJ who is literally in front of goal so all he had too do was tap it in for the easy goal but no what does he do instead he totally misses everything by kicking it wide. It was on a platter for him probably changing the course of the game. Also the man was presented with two easy opportunities to cross the ball too a magnificent darting run by Son. The first botched play BJ should have quickly crossed it as soon as he received n took his first dribble but he proceeds to dribble the ball forward a second to long which lets the Ipswich defenders close in on him making it way to hard for himself to pass the ball. With the second play he bottles it crossing it straight into the arms of the goal keeper, classic BJ. Those where a few close chances that Son would of easily put in to the back of the net. He also took a shot outside the box which was heading straight in but was kept out miraculously by the out stretched hands of the goalkeeper. Other than those moments the rest of the Spurs squad didn't come anywhere close. Except for Solanke who messed up by kicking a goal straight into his arm before going in, what kinda of Striker does that?? The 60 million dollar striker also could of easily equalised but no he ends up kicking it into the one place where he shouldn't which is straight at the goalkeepers leg for the miss, anywhere else it would of been an easy goal especially if he kicked it with his left foot. Again a 60 million dollar striker should be adequate with both feet maximising his chances of scoring. Those are two pivotal chances that a player getting paid $60 million dollars should be putting away with ease. Let's be honest though Son's performances are the least of reasons why the Spurs are losing. The only reason the likes of U pundits bring up Son's name with the thumbnail titled something negative abt Son is to get more views bcuz U know it will definitely get his massive following into a wild frenzy n U will rage bait them into clicking the video. Anyone with half a brain can easily see that the reasons why the Spurs lose is bcuz of their major weakness in their back line. They have the worst defenders in the league n also a goalkeeper who buckles under the pressure whenever a cross comes flying inside his vicinity. Speaking of crosses can somebody take Pedro Porro too see a optometrist bcuz he keeps crossing it into the arms of the one person wearing all yellow n not too the many others in white tops just like what he is wearing. However the game came down too two key crucial errors made by the once so called "best defender in the world" as stated by Lionel Messi. Romero has been playing shockingly this season. He seems to look below average without the likes of Van de ven defending beside him. His first error was not clearing the ball out of the box but instead heading it carelessly backwards straight in front of goal for the Ipswich player to simply have a shot on goal which he did with a weak ass but well placed bicycle kick. The second mistake he made was not staying Infront of his man n holding the defensive line. He instead went for a careless tackle too try win the ball but had 0% chance of getting which let his man dribble past him, yes he does try to track back but proceeds to do it very half heartedly which lets the Ipswich player to cross the ball in but Vicario dealt with it the worst possible way by pushing the ball straight into the feet of Dragusin who kicks it straight into the net. I don't believe either Vicario or Dragusin was at fault I believe if Romero kept his man in front of him instead making a wreckless play at the ball that goal would of never happen. As I'm writing this it has been reported that Romero is injured so maybe this will let a more determined hungrier defender step up too the plate n improve this weak ass backline.
If personal glory and money were the priority, Son should have left with Harry or even before him. But Son chose the higher road: loyalty to a team that needed him. Now we're discussing whether keeping him is beneficial to the team? THIS mentality is what keeps Spurs from being a respected team with proper pedigree and class. We're a freaking small business, a street stand pretending that we can be something greater, while throwing away the heritage that makes the actual foundation of any great team. SPURSY!
I think Son is a great guy to have around. He definitely on the decline physically, but is still very good. He hasn’t suddenly become rubbish. I think he plays best as an inside left attacker and will benefit hugely when Odobert is back and can add that direct option consistently over 90mins. Son has to manage his body in the same way Bale did when he came back (although I don’t think he will be quite so “conservative”). Should he be captain? No, probably not. But was he the right option last season and in preseason this year? Yes. I don’t think it should change because it would undermine him. I think that we need more players to act as captains. We should offer Son the extension and (assuming Kulu continues to play as he has so far this year) then Kulu should be captain once Son retires
11:42 I’m not sure why this guy is saying “go and get 3 players” for 90M. Firstly …. You can’t anymore. Look at the market. Secondly…. You can’t play 3 players in one position. So that wouldn’t replace him 😂
A great clubman but a fading talent.17 goals last season mainly playing centrally. He and Dom should play as the 2 up top then adjust the rest of the formation with 3 at the back.5 thru the middle with the wing backs not inverting which leaves space for the creative mids.Ofcourse that wont happen due tp the close-minded manager.
Money and quality from a business standpoint is better than an aged player on the decline of value sadly your perception, personality and previous achievements can only take you that far also sadly most Tottenham fans will hate this comment but sometimes they have to accept reality

yeah that is true
Son is not a player for Ange. Whats the point of having a world class player and demanding he play a style he is not suited for
this is a worry
I want him to stay 5more years even if he gets benched on 35 or 36
oh wow
Hi! I love Sonny ❤
LOL
I wish son left spurs and go to a team that can win trophy… spurs was never a big club that aims for trophy, the owner is a shrewd businessman
Can tell you are not spurs
The reality is if Son goes then Spurs lose the majority of Asia who is bringing in massive capital to the club.
Levy relies on this so much

Bro so clean he rinsed the toe off dibo fam

I want Son to stay but if he wants a trophy he needs to leave.
yeah would be so good if he could win one here

This is what makes him a good captain

great comment
Jamie is a lair when he said real Tottenham fans are finsihed with Son, the only funs that want Son go is the Armchair and Trolls in the media/
lol
As a spurs fan we are a joke on the world #stage 😢
It’s not been amazing

Wrong move by spurs
Such a shame
People rounded on Conte when Son lost form.
Now he's lost form again, they're rounding on.....Son.
And we wonder why other fans call us fickle.
LOL
He needs a move like Kane and we need money for him to sigh someone young and up and coming, I love sonny but it’s time ❤😢

He is worth more to the club than a transfer fee - thank you for your support!
Yes sadly but others won’t see his worth the same we do as Tottenham fans
true
Time to let go
Such a shame
