I definitely think Son is definitely gonna go down as a Spurs legend, but I think we sadly have to move on after another year. The question is still, how will he be replaced, because we literally have no one who can replace him.

Brennan Johnson had so many opportunities that would of lead too him scoring as well as assisting two goals for Son. However this man probably had the worst game of his career. Two minutes into the game Son makes the most beautiful cross in towards BJ who is literally in front of goal so all he had too do was tap it in for the easy goal but no what does he do instead he totally misses everything by kicking it wide. It was on a platter for him probably changing the course of the game. Also the man was presented with two easy opportunities to cross the ball too a magnificent darting run by Son. The first botched play BJ should have quickly crossed it as soon as he received n took his first dribble but he proceeds to dribble the ball forward a second to long which lets the Ipswich defenders close in on him making it way to hard for himself to pass the ball. With the second play he bottles it crossing it straight into the arms of the goal keeper, classic BJ. Those where a few close chances that Son would of easily put in to the back of the net. He also took a shot outside the box which was heading straight in but was kept out miraculously by the out stretched hands of the goalkeeper. Other than those moments the rest of the Spurs squad didn't come anywhere close. Except for Solanke who messed up by kicking a goal straight into his arm before going in, what kinda of Striker does that?? The 60 million dollar striker also could of easily equalised but no he ends up kicking it into the one place where he shouldn't which is straight at the goalkeepers leg for the miss, anywhere else it would of been an easy goal especially if he kicked it with his left foot. Again a 60 million dollar striker should be adequate with both feet maximising his chances of scoring. Those are two pivotal chances that a player getting paid $60 million dollars should be putting away with ease. Let's be honest though Son's performances are the least of reasons why the Spurs are losing. He seems to look below average without the likes of Van de ven defending beside him. His first error was not clearing the ball out of the box but instead heading it carelessly backwards straight in front of goal for the Ipswich player to simply have a shot on goal which he did with a weak ass but well placed bicycle kick. The second mistake he made was not staying Infront of his man n holding the defensive line. He instead went for a careless tackle too try win the ball but had 0% chance of getting which let his man dribble past him, yes he does try to track back but proceeds to do it very half heartedly which lets the Ipswich player to cross the ball in but Vicario dealt with it the worst possible way by pushing the ball straight into the feet of Dragusin who kicks it straight into the net. I don't believe either Vicario or Dragusin was at fault I believe if Romero kept his man in front of him instead making a wreckless play at the ball that goal would of never happen. As I'm writing this it has been reported that Romero is injured so maybe this will let a more determined hungrier defender step up too the plate n improve this weak ass backline.

I think he plays best as an inside left attacker and will benefit hugely when Odobert is back and can add that direct option consistently over 90mins. Son has to manage his body in the same way Bale did when he came back (although I don’t think he will be quite so “conservative”). Should he be captain? No, probably not. But was he the right option last season and in preseason this year? Yes. I don’t think it should change because it would undermine him. I think that we need more players to act as captains. We should offer Son the extension and (assuming Kulu continues to play as he has so far this year) then Kulu should be captain once Son retires

A great clubman but a fading talent.17 goals last season mainly playing centrally.He and Dom should play as the 2 up top then adjust the rest of the formation with 3 at the back.5 thru the middle with the wing backs not inverting which leaves space for the creative mids.Ofcourse that wont happen due tp the close-minded manager.
