I was most looking forward for Mages but unfortunately the fact that they don't have their adventure cards completely destroys the immersion. It's a pity that this expansion was treated like this. I'm still hoping that it will be possible to buy dedicated adventure cards and advanced action cards for this expansion in the future. Then it would be complete.
I've played every expansion with a couple of friends. We're really loving your game! Do you guys have any plans in the foreseeable future to bring out any new expansions? We just can't get enough!

Very happy with all the content. The only thing that bums me out is there was no Monster Trail card for Mounted Eredin. Always want to play with the Monster Trail expansion because it adds so much monster flavor, risk and uniqueness which means Mounted Eredin will never be used.
I am very happy from that game. It is truly masterpiece. I hope that in the future there will be more expansions to buy in, because a lots of things can be implemented to the game and that could be a pity if not

I've got the big box all in edition and I have a question. How to differentiate adventure cards for regular game and those that were stretch goal? I mixed them during sleeving process and looking at how many are there, I'd like to play first games with only the base adventure cards, and add the stretch goal ones after a few games.
Hey there everyone, So I want to invest into the witcher board game as , but have no idea where to start or what would be a good buy. I thought I would get the all in box but it seems its over 500 euros on ebay and I am struggling to find it anywhere else and im not sure if it would just be better to get the game piece by piece. Do you have any recommendations as to how or where and which ones to get ? I want to get all of them in time so a guide would be great as in which order i should get them, another questions is do i get mats with the deluxe old world edition and/ or should i just get the path of destiny or where the hell do i start? What would you recommend ? Im completely new to this and apologize for my impomcotence. Thanks for the advice and help !
I would recomend playing with Base game, Monster trail expansion and wild hunt expansion (Wild hunt is Coop and I really enjoy that). Those are all compatible and also you can buy them right now online. If you dont like Coop, than I would say you can skip the wild hunt expansion and just buy the base game and Monster trail and maybe the legendary hunt expansion. Skellige and Mages Expansion are not thaaaaat important in my opinion, because they dont add a lot of mechanics, they are just there, if you have seen enough from the normal gameplay and want something new and exciting. I must say the Skellige has some new quest cards, so thats nice. Also on top of everything you could get the Adventure pack expansion, but if you are like me and want to play coop, you will not need it, because wild hunt is not combineable with the adventure pack.
I didn't get any of the major expansions (only the Kickstarter exclusives such as Monster Trail, Wild Hunt,...), Mounted Eredin had no value for me as it was only compatible with the base game and not with Monster Trail. Sold him on the second hand market to make another fan happy.
Agree, lost opportunity not to make a monster hunt and legendary card for it. Makes him useless as a level III monster without his card using monster trail

This felt like a big advertisement for the expansions. You didn't give any information that wasn't listed in the in the booklet or boxes.
Wait2 you can't use bomb and mutagen with wild hunt? Why? Also why can't you use mounted eredin? Mechanically it works
Mutagens and bombs are in the Monster Trail expansion which is fully compatible.
