My first trip to Russia and Moscow was like this and I loved it !!!!!
Walking in the center of Moscow, in November like this, or in a few weeks come December is so nice.
I watch the Victory Day parade almost every year. It is refreshing to see the Red Square from a different angle.
Fantastic views of this beautiful city...thanks for all the hard work, Russell...hopefully my wife Tara and I can come visit in the near future...living in South Carolina but originally from London...hopefully we can experience the grandeur of Moscow soon👍🏻

I like to sit down & watch something like it's the length of a TV show (or longer is good, too). I used to watch a couple other youtubers in Russia, but they moved... so I don't watch them. Always nice Russell to see videos of Alexander gardens and Red Square, especially in the snow. I hope to be back there soon 😊 last year I slipped over on the ice at the entrance to Red Square at Mile mark 0 , it was so slippy there 😂 the Christmas/ New Year market is great there
I know the spot you slipped over. the metal part that makes up the mile marker 0 on the floor is very slippery. I can do this walk every time i am in the center of Moscow. Even walking on a bit further towards the Bolshoi Theatre and Lubyanka.

This is the way Russia is always portrayed in Hollywood movies. This is signature Russia weather for Hollywood.
And it's almost true. Not sure about other cities, but Moscow in winter is very gloomy in terms of weather.

Moskva always looks beautiful. I used to love GUM. Beautiful natural light any time of day to time of the year. I loved it in 80's. Now only thing I can afford there is probably a trip to the toilet : )

GUM almost always was a shopping mall from day 1 in the end of 19th century and it had this glass roof from the beginning! Project of Pomerantsev and Shuhov. And before there was a market place for hundreds of years)
There was no apartments, but in early USSR there was offices for a few years and then shopping mall again)
That isn't a shopping mall that is a walk through
@@brinjoness3386 I didn’t understood what you meant by “walk through”. GUM is a billing (not part of the street) with several floors, few walking areas, stores all over the place and some places to eat.
If this is not shopping centre I don’t understand why))

Interesting fact: in Moscow, Russia you can still see retro steam locomotives that pull small freight trains or even track repair trains. This happens because on the Riga radial direction (D2) there is an operating locomotive depot, which is designed to keep steam locomotives in good condition so that they carry tourist trains, patriotic trains, or the Father Frost (Russian Santa Claus) Train. The Father Frost Train is the mobile residence of Father Frost on a train that travels through 80 cities of Russia, where festive events for children are held in honor of the New Year (admission inside is paid). This train will arrive in Moscow at the Belorussky Station on December 27 at 10 am, and will depart with two locomotives simultaneously from two different tracks at 10 pm. But this is not the last appearance of the Santa Claus Train in Moscow. He will also travel along the Moscow Central Circle on January 15 with a steam locomotive. If you want, I can talk about interesting railway events
