    Well done... grew up over there in the 90’s, then a few dead bodies later plus the golf course and it was all down hill from there.

    Awesome Video! Have you seen the huge road gap feature out there? It looks gigantic!

      Thank you! Probably but, I haven't ridden out there in a while. I know there are a few gap features out there though.

    That looked like a whole lot of fun! Except for that crash of course. Brutal. Conditions looked ideal. Except for being HOT!!! 👍👊🤘👍

      It's pretty steamy there as well. Thankfully the high heat should start winding down.

      @@lonestarmtb6799 The city has a part of it now. Parked at the parking lot south of where yall entered (on military) and walked it today. It will be a pretty park and when the riders get back i there I can see a lot of it reclaimed and mtb trails melded with the park (much like what happens at Macalister or Govnmt C. Both side of the overpass is gonna be cool.

    A few questions, is it legal to ride bikes there and if it is, is it only mountain bikes?

    • @lonestarmtb6799
      @lonestarmtb6799  4 года назад +1

      I don't know. It is city property that's regularly patrolled by San Antonio Parks Police. Ride at your own risk. Dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, 4x4's, or any type of off-road vehicles are definitely not supposed to be out there and will likely be ticketed if caught.

      It’s local. Even the cops know about it. It’s not really a big secret. I guess they’re just scared of something being built on it or being shut down. But everyone and their dad knows about this place. Atleast those who grew up in SE San Antonio

      It's a lil of everything jeeps and trucks and side by sides atvs i actually ride my ATV threw the neighborhood into the trails once in its totally secluded

    • @mrnotnomis
      @mrnotnomis 4 года назад

      I think it's public land because it's next to Salado Creek. Google the code 9H3P+5H San Antonio, Texas and you will see the main trail. You will need to stay on the west side of Salado Creek, because there's a golf course on the other side. I rode there in the 80s and I take my ATV down there sometimes (slooooowwwwwly).

    Yeah f*** clip pedals bro unless you're in BMX racing they just become a burden way better to learn how to ride without him
