@@khrysztoffe27 The answer to that is simply our government during the late 00’s and early 10’s played it safe despite being one of the winners of the Great Recession. Our government didn’t burrow enough money to leverage our strong economy at the time. I believe the Philippines government during Aquino’s time were spending 2-3% in infrastructure projects where they could have easily increased that amount by a couple percentages to fast track certain projects that was on their radar like the ones I previously mentioned. I ask, how long do the Filipino have to suffer? I want this country to succeed as much as you do, but with rising inflation and economic headwinds, these grand projects are going to be put under the rug for much longer.
@ 2:50, afaik cancelled na yang makati Intra city subway kasi di na economical yung project since yung supposed stations nyan na dating sa Makati is ngayon nasa taguig na. Unless magkaagreement ang taguig at makati or something nyan about that, that project is good as cancelled at least for now.

It's been 40 years since LRT Line 1 existed. By the way, Martial Law delayed and canceled projects that would help the Philippines grow. It also delayed the construction of rapid transit systems.

mrt 7 phase 1's partial operation on 2025 and 2027 for the remaining 2 stations, another 10 years for phase 2 construction of mrt 7 once the phase 1 is operational, and 20 or more years for phase 3. i think the new timeline for lrt 1 cavite extension is 2031 for phase 2 and 3. 2030 for mrt 4.

Imagine you chilling in your 6th floor apartment and a vehicle came crashing through?. Although I would rather have the flying vehicles ONLY be used for emergency vehicles like ambulance and firetrucks. So they can get to places faster

If people in the past thought that way then people could have stuck in archaic ways or pre-modern lifestyle and people couldn't have evolved to what they have become. And the good news is whether you like it or not, evolution is here to stay and people will just continue to evolve and adapt to survive or travel to the Moon or Mars for vacation.
They should also focus on adding more train cars to accommodate more passengers. Para hindi siksikan and crowded. Like most trains and metro abroad, arriving every 3 to 5 mins.

Currently there are 3 lines under construction: LRT-1 Cavite Extension, MMS-9, MRT-7 (4 if we include NSCR). Loan approval for MRT-4 is expected on Q2 2024.
we need more. 4 is not enough. I have plans. A heavy rail composed of 7 cars from bocau bulacan to dasmarinas cavite, it will cross the manila bay as a subway system and the stations will feature a design kagaya ung sa moscow at st petersburg metro with platform doors as an upgrade na parang spanish style to make it cooler. A heavy rail line which will only be in the provinces of laguna and cavite connecting general trias city to los banos city in the laguna province. an mrt 3 extension to moa but idk of its possible or what we should do to the mrt 3 is add a completley underground tunnel where all stations are completley underground. Like it could be the first metro line in the world that has an elevated system and an underground system in just one frsaking line! And a metro manila subway loop which is an oval one, not a circle cuz a circle one wouldnt be possible. A line from naia t1, 2 and 3 to alabang and balintawak crossing the nlex and slex.

In iloilo about 3-4 monorail lines and a cable car line in boracay. In mindanao in cagayan de oro we can have 1 or 2 subway lines or 2 mlnorail lines. In davao city around 4 heavy rail, light rail ot subway systems and 5 monorail systems. In general santos city di ko alam maybe we can build 3 monorail lines. But that aint happening this decade, maybe in the next decade or 2
Is it just me, or should MRT-7 be a closed loop line (at least till Phase 3)? Considering that Phase 2 is a westward extension from North Triangle to NMIA and Phase 3 is a northward extension from San Jose Del Monte to NMIA as well, it would be pretty dumb if NMIA would just be a transfer point for two ends of MRT-7's main line (Phases 4 and 5 are more like branch lines, but that does not matter as much).

Never nag connect ang LRT2 Pureza Station at PNR Sta. Mesa Station, wala namang direct bridge mula Pureza station diretcho ng Sta. Mesa Station.
Baka iniisip nila may long escalator na gagawin para mag-connect sa Pureza at Sta Mesa.

Actually that Makati subway is dead. LRT1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 did reach their target deadline though so if it was me, I would have all other projects be done by JICA.
