  • Relax as I flip through an entire vintage 2000 JCPenney Christmas Catalog and ramble about this and that for almost two and a half hours!
This is video 504 of this channel and is best enjoyed when using headphones or ear buds.
This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.

Don't get me wrong these are great videos to unwind to but I just don't know if I could be someone who keeps someone else in a state of sleepy depression while I collect revenue
And RUclips deliberately depresses my audience even more with their disturbing utopian society type advertising and ads.
(And alot of people are depressed/fed up)
...You know what I'd like to see? Id like to see someone make an ASMR channel that's all about using the power of that high pitch "SSSsss"; that we all like so much in one's voice; and apply it to making videos explaining to a bunch of sleepy young people the dangerous road they're generation is walking that inevitably comes to a big cliff where they will fall off and die if they don't wake up.
Jesus my great grandfather that died in ww2 would be turning over in his grave if he knew he and others went and died so that I would be forced to do something I don't want to do by force.
      Anyway, that's my rant.

This is great! As a child of the late 70s and early 80s, the JCPenney catalog was the annual treat. We'd circle the things we hoped Santa would bring us. Great trip down memory lane and great work as always! Thank you!!

Right there with ya. Still remember the great Star Wars toys they had on display, and I wanted my dad to build a display/play set like the one in the catalog for like 1979 or 1980, can’t remember exactly which one (and maybe neither, might have been before). It was multi tiered with some glass dome like sections, it was a dreamy looking thing to my 7-8 year old eyes lol.
Wonderful time to be a kid/grow up/be alive.

Not sure if I really like the Mudd sweatshirt on page 356, but I was born in 1980 so this catalog is almost too nostalgic. I think I have said it before, but you are definitely the cool uncle that I could sit on the porch and listen to for hours. Especially because during those hours I would probably end up assembling an R/C car, a couple drones, a model car, and have a couple notebooks full of transcripts written with some of the most elegant pens on earth. Plus I have baseball cards to trade. Maybe it’s because I am from Iowa, but that sounds like heaven to me. 😊

I’m 53, the Christmas catalogs from Sears and JC Penny’s were so exciting to look at back in those days. I always wanted everything Barbie. I had the Barbie townhouse and the Barbie airplane. (I also have a Mother who was a huge Elvis fan) we listened to Elvis records while she cleaned the house ❤️🤩 I also remember vividly the day he died. 😭My mother was devastated and I remember her crying watching the tv news.

My bank has one in the lobby that the bank manager made and it looks like a small town with homes, hillsides, a Main Street and I always look at it before I actually get in line. It’s relaxing and amazing, the wonderful attention to detail it has.
