Love lady Ruqaiya's smile she is so beautiful! She wasn't sure about the black olives haha.. Awesome video as always TPT! I Hope all the team are at the peak of wellness! Peace and much love! :)
I love how all of them are enthusiastic tasters now. I remember when the group would take small tentative bites. Now, all of them enjoy with gusto; especially, Mr. Chaudhary...lol Always a joy.
I always find it interesting how they try to make sense of what they are eating by comparing the flavors, textures, and ingredients to those of the foods they are accustomed to.
I'm American and I eat that way also. Actually, my sister and I do. Every food establishment that we purchase food from - with each bite try to figure out what it is that we are tasting; what herbs are we tasting; seasonings, etc. This helps us to attempt to recreate certain dishes at home - especially if the meal was pricy at the restaurant.
yes! it would be good to see the kitchen and the food being prepared so that our requests for what we want to see them try next, we have a point of reference and a context. that way we know the limits of the catering team that we don't usually see.
I love when you serve them the food. They are always so complimentary over the food, the way it looks, how the bread is toasted. It's a refreshing way of looking at things from a far away culture.
Hi Elders! When my Dad was alive and I was a girl, he'd ask me to make him a grilled sandwich most nights, as a late snack. Ours weren't fancy or as big as these - simple ingredients like grilled ham and cheese, beef and cheese, or plain old grilled cheese, etc. . About 1/2 the size. I made it in a frying pan, so no amazing grill marks.😅 He liked his with BBQ sauce. I'm so glad you liked these. It makes me smile thinking about my Dad. 🤎 - the "Random White Lady in America who cares" (remember me😊?) - just me in Palm Springs 🌴 catching up on your videos. As always, respect to The Elders. ❤
Palm Springs is so beautiful. My parents lived in Palm Desert for almost 30 years. 🥰 … that part of California will always have a special place in my heart. ❤
Gull Sher Khan has returned with grey in his beard and only one ring. Is there a reason for this? He is one of my favorites and I liked his "style" and attraction to stones. He always seems so pleasant. They are all good people and we have become attached to them, thank you for this channel.
better still, take the things they don't like, and combine them into something that's so utterly delicious that they have to pry Mr Chaudhry off it 🤣 and not reveal the ingredients until they've all eaten.
The Sandwich was named after The Earl of Sandwich, who is supposed to have invented the idea as a way to eat and gamble at the same time perhaps around 1770.His "sandwich" appears to have been made of something like corned beef, which is still a very good sandwich ingredient..Sandwich means Sand-Town.The English town is now mainly famous for a couple of golf courses I believe.
I love all these people. Each one unique in personality.........Tahir with his food versus health benefits and funny sayings with that cheeky grin and laughter. Chaudary with his gentleness and appreciation and gratitude for simple things and the eyes/looks of innocents when he speaks from his heart. Rana with his enthusiasm and childlike awe and wonder and full of joy. Gul with that awesome mustache and regal countenance and those huge rings, he must be a BIG man on campus in his village.
Ruquaiya is such a great addition to this group. Her comments are great and her smile is heartwarming. I loved the response when they heard that the sandwich was made in 1946. Even though I often question some of the info… it doesn’t really matter, it adds to the joy of viewing .🙏
The Tribal Gentlemen are sooooo nice. They are grateful and so polite. And a wonderful sense of humor. Also, I just love their traditional way they dress. Absolutely beautiful people.
I would like you to know how much I love watching this channel. I wonder what they think of the modern world and if they would like to live that way. To sleep on a bed, to travel, to eat many wonderous delights. I really appreciate how much they love America and think it is the best place in the world, as do I as an American. I would love to meet you and others like you around the world as I thought everyone was modern except for the Sentinal Islands. I wish to live like you, a simple life without all of the modern stresses. Cheers! From Oregon USA.
Always best to have a drink with food! I think a toasted cheese sandwich with cheddar and a little Branston pickle would be a new experience, it's way better than chicken 😊

The sandwich was born in Sandwich, kent, England, 1762 John Montague, earl of sandwich.... they put two pieces of bread together with a filling and called it the name of the village
I love watching them try new things and talking about it! I’ve always been fascinated with the Middle East and I thinks it’s a shame what’s happened over there for the last 20+ years. I hope to one day go there. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran or Iraq. One of the very first civilizations came from the Middle East. Sumerians. I want to know all about the Middle East. Much love to you all and your channel
In south africa we like to braai, which is cooking over the coals form a wood fire. it is usually some meat and sausage and some grilled cheese onion and tomato sandwiches (on what you call double roti) the coals give an amazing flavour
These good folks are very accustomed to wood fire cooking . It's actually one of their primary methods of cooking, since most of the people who live in small rural Pakistani villages, don't have electricity or have very limited access to it. If you get a chance, you should check out their sister channels Tribal Lifestyle and Tribal Kitchen where they showcase some of the open air street food in the city where their studio is located and also Mr. Chaudhary's cooking videos where he prepares local foods for the people in his village. They're both great channels that (in my humble opinion) don't get nearly the promotion they deserve! 😊
Oh my - dunking grilled-cheese sandwiches in soup is very common. But now - after seeing that picture of a bowl of haleem, oh my... THAT is what I want to dunk grilled sandwiches in!
When they listed the ingredients in a "grilled chicken sandwich" it was unrecognizable from anything I've ever had. As the point of grilling is to melt the interior ingredients, I've never seen one with fresh vegetables on it. A "philly cheese steak" for instance, was NEVER made with mayo, lettuce, and tomato.
Have them try Runzas, which is hamburger, onion, and cabbage cooked and put inside bread dough, then baked. Add ketchup and/or mustard when you eat them. It’s sort of like a homemade hot pocket, but WAY better!!
