My truck doesn't have this. It's a 2006 silverado extended cab z71. Guy at parts store says my year doesn't have one. Why would that be? How do I get the bad odor out from vents? Wouldn't make sense why they list my year as compatible with this filter/process yet then I open it up to find there isn't one.
I have a ‘04 Z71 and I can’t find the filter. This video is good, but it is so close that I am not sure where you are. I took my cover off under the glove box and didn’t see this area. I had to replace the fan control module anyway.
I have a 2005 gmc and it does have a cabin air filter but I have no idea how to take it out, if you take the resistor out then in that hole you can see the filter
My issue is, you don't show the flow of the cabin air filter on the reinstall...😮 Yes, there are flow arrows on many filters n mine.. According to 2 videos, the flow goes towards the driver's side...arrow points to the driver's side...
Surprised you haven't corrected the title / description / etc. since Chevy discontinued the cabin air filter after the 2002 model year. How about a nice DIY clip on how to modify the 2003-2007 model years to add the cabin air filter back in. Just a thought. I'm biased since I have a 2004 1500 Z71 and would like a cabin air filter.

5.5 mm is a fancy word for 7/32

Simple and easy explanation. Thank you

Why skip removing the panels?
Do the 2006 chevy 5.3 have a cabin?
Not entirely TRUE 🤨 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS doesn't have a cabin air filter. Even though Bizzarly...there's an actual filter being sold online.
Mine is located in the glovebox. 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Classic Body.

Thanks, good explanation.
Underneath here? Where is “here”
Where can I buy that cover at?
+@specialopsgames6110 We do not sell the cover you are looking for. We suggest checking at a local auto parts store.

What is the number for the filter? Geeze
This is not the same as a 2004 5.3 tahoe I'm not seeing any clip or anything. Would appreciate another video and you should rename this one.

Usless video
Most useless how to video ever! Where is the area on the truck where this is?
