How to Replace AC Compressor 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

    This video shows you how to install a new AC compressor from TRQ on your 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
    The AC compressor circulates refrigerant under pressure throughout your car or truck's air conditioning system. Through age or faults in other components, the compressor can burn out and stop working.
    PLEASE NOTE: Before attempting this repair, have your AC system's refrigerant properly removed by a qualified technician.
    This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
    2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
    2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
    2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
    2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
    2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

    Chevrolet aught to have there butts kicked for mounting the a/c under the truck. Worst design ever.

    Why not take the passenger wheel off? It’s MUCH easier that way

    The issue that I’m having right now is that I don’t have coke ac, heat works fine and fans do work but for some reason even after a recharge I don’t get cold

    if you remove the pressure switch like that one with charged system will the freon leak out

    Can i put the compressor high pressure sensor in with it on the truck i already put it on and forgot to put the high pressure switch on

    My pull busted off and the belt is still OK. I made it a quarter of a mile and stopped to see what was happening. Towed home. Hope that's all in the morning
