My Experience with Delayed Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy - Jeri Francoeur

In 2020, breast cancer patient advocate Jeri Francoeur found a suspicious mass in her breast. In her research, she came across a new technique called 'delayed' sentinel lymph node biopsy, which uses Magtrace® to stage breast cancer.
In this video she explains how she found Dr Spiguel at the University of Florida Shands and convinced her to perform the technique on her. By having this surgery performed, it allowed Jeri to avoid an unnecessary surgical procedure that would have been compulsory if her surgeon had still been using the traditional methods of radioactive tracer and blue dye.
