you know, I'm kinda jealous. I have to drive at least 4 hours to get enough snow for snowboarding, but then again I'm not. I can enjoy you seeing there snowboarding and having fun and I guess that's what makes me happy too. to see other people having fun in the snow when I can't.
Unfortunately the ski resort is completely shut this year due to covid so I'm having to walk up for every run, but yes, at least i can still go riding! 😃

@@malcolmmoore I canceled it. I am not ready. I worked two jobs this winter and did not have time to practice. Spent only about 30 days riding. However, I competed the required clinician and passed the research paper with flying colors, so I will be able to focus on riding next season! Thank you for asking, Malcolm!

Enjoyed this! Are the gauges on the go pro app as well, or did you use a different software? They are different from the ones you usually have.
Yeah I've changed up now, so I'm recording the gps data on a suunto smart watch with a barometric pressure sensor which is way more accurate than just a gps. I then take the GPX file and import it into the free Garmin Virb Edit software to make the speed and altitude gauges. You then have to sync it up to your footage, its alot more confusing at first but once you get the hang of the process it produces far more reliable results!
@@malcolmmoore That’s interesting, your altitude data would definitely be more accurate. I don’t have one of those watches, but I have an apple watch. You’ve got me thinking about trying to see if I can find something similar for the apple watch. Also, have you used the slopes app by any chance? If yes, would you recommend?

Yeah, it makes the hike up much easier, but to be honest, its probably not something I'll use all that much when lifts open back up!

Do they let dogs generally on the slopes or do you have a special pass since you work there?

Hi malcom moore, can you help my buy a snowboard, will probably use it on ice, and not a powdery snow, what kind of snowboard shoud i buy?
I would look at a Ride machete gt. Or a super pig if not going to park your board look for a all mountain board medium flex. Also a lib tech with magna track is a good choice but I’m particular to Ride using a twin pig so look at a war pig or any in pig series
Yeah agreed with Jimmy, just make sure you get the right size for you, check the spec sheet on the brands website to make sure you fit within the brackets for a given size!
